To be fair if Bruce didn't buy such a load of **** at Sunderland they wouldn't be in such desperation to have to go around throwing silly sums like £14m at players like Borini. Konoplyanka what a player, so is that other Ukrainian winger. I'd ****ing love us to sign either one of them, preferably both, but we always go for boring steady types like Snodgrass. Not that I don't think snodgrass is a good player before anyone takes that the wrong way, he's a good addition, but chuck a little bit on top of that enormous fee he cost and we could have had a real genuinely exciting player like Sigurdsson or either of those Ukrainian lads, someone who you could see going on and playing at the very top level.
