Na he was being nice to us. Here is the full quote not the twitter quote. He is looking forward to getting to play a team from the PL. Trencin manager Martin Sevela is licking his lips at the prospect of facing an English side. He said: "Hull are the most attractive opponent from our pot. "For Slovak players it could be a once-in-a-lifetime chance to play against a team from the Premier League. "It is a big motivation for us, but before that we have to overcome Vojvodina."
another cut n paste Seeing as we won't really be playing at home, we can hardly call it a home section. Depends on where we play, but there will be cca 200 people in the Ultras section. At home games there are about 100 to 300 people in the ultras section - depends on the match really. as I said there are about 20 people in the firm, sometimes 30-35 if the old lads, and people who do pro fighting join. Also there are more than a couple of people from the ultras who can land a punch or two. But we usually prefer to take a different approach to visitors, than most groups from Slovakia and the region, as we are different from most groups, at least politically. TrenčÃn is beautiful, around 55K inhabitants, but has a really old history - there are even some Roman landmarks as there was a roman fort here, plus some pre-roman stuff. and of course there is the castle, 13th century on the top of the hill, overlooking the city. There is a great view of it from the terrace. A shame we won't be playing in TrenčÃn.
our ulltras don't tend to fight to be honest, trencin's are proper ultras in the sense, they fight like ****, you wouldn't like to mess with them
We have a Slovakian guy at our place, used to live 30 miles away from Trencin. According to him the football club are woeful and it should be a breeze for hull city, although he did say that the Trencin area is stunning for views and hospitality,
Well it's always better to post full quotes. Being nice to the Premier League more than us specifically I'd say, Sky's publicity and hype around it has made it the most famous in the world I suppose.
I'm making a week of it, going to stay in Bratislava 3 nights and Trencin Thursday.. apparently Vienna is a short train ride from Bratislava too.. If the game's in Dubnica, then I guess there will be public transport.. Cross fingers now that they don't lose 0-5! But I had to book now cos I'm coming from France and places are going
Wish I had the time for that. Just a note to anyone thinking of going out on the Thursday, don't book anything yet. Kick off could be any time from 3pm to 10pm (their time)
