Trainspotting is a fantastic sound track. Also 24 hour party people, Human Traffic is pretty good too. and anything soulful of course making The Blues Brothers and the sequel being my all time favourites.
All the movies where Robbie Robertson did the sound track. He was the songwriter for The Band in the 60s and 70s. They were my favorites, saw them many times. He is also Scorcese's best friend. Done the tracks for many of his movies. Scorsese also directed The Last Waltz, which was The Band's last concert, here in San Francisco. Great movie if you like that sort of stuff.
Ecstacy of gold from The good the bad and the ugly one of my favorites
Ennio Morricone. A great composer. My favourite, Once Upon A Time In The West. Gladiator. Out of Africa The Blue Brothers Harlem The Cotton Club
