Russia hasn't shot down any planes though, pro-Russian separatists are alleged to have shot down a plane. If Russia is responsible for the separatists in Ukraine then the UK and the US is responsible for Israel's actions in Gaza.
A full Russian nuclear strike in the 80s would have targeted Yorkshire very early on. What do you think has changed?
And? We've supported and supplied Syrian rebels and they're terrorists and religious extremists, we support Israel and they've killed innocent women and kids.
They are no longer commies. There are also quite a lot of wealthy Russians residing in Britain who are close to Putin.
Don't hold your breath whilst waiting for NATO or the UN, they are busy flying around the world staying in nice hotels planning to have meeting to arrange another meeting to talk about what should be done. Unfortunatly we have run out of scheduled time, see you all again next time in another nice hotel.
Its certainly not the first commercial airliner to be shot down. We shot an Iranian one down around 1990 if memory serves me. Pretty sure there have been other ones as well.
A lot of questions about that one. I think the russians shot down a Japanese aircraft which strayed of course
If the Russians are guilty...Close all world airspace to Russian commercial plane and don't fly to Russia....f**'em..If it is them, this will be the second time they've shot down a commercial airliner with a serious loss of life.... Also FIFA to take the 2018 WC away from Russia..Who wants to go there.. If they get away with this one...Who's next... .That said flying over a war zone is a bit like asking for trouble.... PS....1st one shot down by Russia..was a Korean airlines about 30 years ago...
Wagons carrying the anti-aircraft system had been seen leaving east Ukraine and heading.....Guess where.?.....Answer Russia..... The Russians are covering their arses....Set of ****s.... Its them all right ....Obama called it right....The Yanks will have the data.
the USS Vincennes which mistook an airbus for an F-14. Sadly these kinds of incidents are not that uncommon. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_airliner_shootdown_incidents#1940s
they're hardly going to say they did it on purpose but even so, there's no excuse for this in 2014, the aircraft was easyily trackable and secondly, why the **** do they have a sam missile system capable of reaching to sub space heights? it's an insane peice of military technology..
Well they have it to shoot down airplanes of course. I mean it isnt really an insane piece of hardware. Pretty much every nation with a military has them hence why we bomb places for a month before we invade. Its to take out such things.
yeah the military have them, that's my point and it is quite insane, there's much lesser sam systems out there, it's a huge peice, there are various smaller sam types i bet a place like finland only has 1 or 2 buk systems in their whole military yet some rebels have one and know how to operate it?
Finland dont fight wars do they. Most nations with the chance of armed conflict have them. Of course some of the rebels know how to operate them. Both Russia and the Ukraine use those models. Clearly large numbers of separatists served in the armed forces of either Russia (or russian militias) or the Ukraine. Its also possible that there were Russian operators with the unit and they pulled the trigger. The truth of the matter is that when you start a war civilians will die. The fact that planes were not diverted over a war zone in which 3 airplanes had been shot down the previous week screams of insanity. They were clearly trying to shoot down a military airplane, the Ukraine uses converted civilian airliners as transports and they posted right after that they shot down a transport plane. They ****ed up, it wasnt in their interests to take out a civilian airliner. This conflict should have been resolved much earlier. The longer it draws itself out the more innocent loss of life will occur just like in all wars.
but why do the rebels have such a system? and the buk system is in operation in the eastern european nations, but that's my point, finland only have one or two why should russia be allowed to supply such a system to rebels? then again i don't agree with the uk & us involvement with syria/libya/israel, it sickens me and the fact a commercial airliner is caught up in it, is a f**ing disgrace, there's no excuse whatsoever, the fact it flew over the airspace is irrelevant, it's nothing but a mass murder, and russia have a lot to answer for world is full of c**ts pathetic humans and i still don't buy the fact they mistakenly took it for a different aircraft, all commercial airliners have specific radar systems, that can be tracked by civilians, nevermind a military standard monopulse system
They have it to shoot down airplanes. I dont understand why you keep asking it. Finland dont fight wars, there is a war going on in the Ukraine. They have all types of weapons to do all types of things. You want to shoot down a plane flying at 30,000 feet thats what you need to use. They are being bombed by airplanes, so they need something to shoot them down. Their allies are supplying them with weapons. So they supplied them with the weapons to do the job. Its no different than the F-16s supplied by my country that Israel is using as we speak to bomb Gaza or the 95% of all small arms sent to Africa also supplied by my country. Its fine if you are angry, its a good thing. Just make sure you are equally as angry about all the civilians who died there the months prior, will die there in the future, and are as angry at all the civilians dying in Syria, Gaza, Nigeria and the rest. If you arent it smacks of being upset only at the fact that people from the Netherlands, England etc died. If one is going to be upset make sure its about the principle of thing.
