This says you edited it as well! I can only imagine the state it was in before. I don't even know what this is.

It was the pro-russian rebels apparently. Getting their weaponry from uncle vlad

its def the work of the buk system from the soviet union era, pro Russian terrorist rebels shot it down

its about 6 miles up to the plane which is above the restricted airspace height in ukraine

how did these rebels obtain military standard equipment? I mean these surface to air units are f**king huge, bigger than a bus, you aint going to sneak it past

russia has a lot to answer for

Being reported that there were 2 Newcastle fans on the flight heading down to New Zealand to watch their team.

    Stephen Harper ‏@steveharper37 2m
Awful news about the two Newcastle fans on the Malaysian flight that came down. Thoughts go out to their families & friends.

R.I.P. Nobody should ever go to watch their team, no matter how far away, and not come back home.

One of the British lads on the flight was from my town and was mates with a load of my mates. I didn't know him but he went to school with them all, only 20 years old.

    Devestating.

Just realised I went to school with his brother, he was in my year.

Makes you wonder what else could happen.

There is definitely a air of doom around the world with that's happening at the moment.

Seems to me that the most likely culprit was Pro-Russian Ukranian separatists armed by the Russian military

It seems like the pro-Russian separatists made a huge mistake. RIP to those who perished.

those missiles can have a range of 70,000 feet

I don't buy the **** about mistaking it for a military plane at all

those systems are accompanied by 2 targeting systems, so it's about the 3 buses equivalent size

commercial airlines are tracked easy as ****, even civilians can track them

    pure ****s

For once I agree with you.

No way on earth can a commercial aircraft be mistaken for a military aircraft

About time NATO and America issued Russia with an Ultimation, reign in your ****ing puppets or we do it for you with some well aimed missiles. It is one thing fighting between themselves it is another shooting down an innocent civilian aircraft.

Yeah, let's get involved in another foreign conflict. The Russians have WMD, that can be our justification. Most of us will be freezing our tits off this winter due to gas prices being increased, who the **** cares though, right?

There would be a lot more dangerous things to worry about than gas prices if we went to war with the Russians

I know. If the Americans want another Cold War with the Russians then so be it, don't drag us into though as it's none of our business.

Depending how long this goes on, I wonder how long it will take for FIFA to rearward it?

And if that were to be the case, surely we'd be in pole position due to the infrastructure already being in place...
