Aah!! Not like me. Massive apologies oh pedantic one.

 

Your view of the ideal online world doesn't exist I'm afraid. It's human nature to look when you suspect someone is targeting you for abuse. And people with strong enough wills to resist that kind of temptation... well, they have real lives and don't hang around in internet forums, that's for sure...

It's the classic example of Chaos Theory - if a man flaps on a thread it can cause a storm on a forum.

I'm thinking of putting all my comments on the notes board in our kitchen and just leaving the words "twat" and "ignore" at the bottom - the result will be the same (maybe worse if the future Mrs Matt gets the wrong end of the stick).

 

Nice. Chucking bible verses in as well, as you KNOW I'm religious. You're really something, you know? Not happy with being snide, you're deliberately targetting me in such a way to gain maximum response. That's against the board rules, as you know. I trust that action will be taken by the moderators against you.

This thread is all about blocking people you dont like, or you take offence to.

But yet you are using this thread to let people winding you up even more ?

I'm not 'letting' anyone wind me up. I'm being specifically targeted by Swords, who is sat in his bedsit getting off on it. There's a difference. Flyer winds me up, and I let him, because his tone of posts jars with me. But it's never personal, and I'm sure if we meet we'd happily share a beer. With Swords, it's personal and targeted. He picks things in his posts that are designed to do nothing except get under my skin. He's done it with others as well, many of whom have left the board, to the board's detriment. It's because he sees this board as his own personal playground, and he likes being the bully. Hence he starts so many threads about himself, and hijacks so many others. If some people are happy to tolerate that, then I guess it's easy to do so when you're not the one being targeted. It's not so easy when you are in his sights. I just wish that the rules of the board were actually imposed in his case, so that behavior targeting an individual for abuse is clamped down on. However, people seem to think it's OK (probably because they are spectators and not victims) and he's left to get on with his vindictiveness.

He'll end up driving away many more genuine QPR fans from this otherwise fine board. You'll end up with one Chelsea supporter ruling the roost here. If that's what you all want, then fine. I won't want to be part of that, but it's up to you.

If, of course, people don't want Swords determining who stays and who goes on the board, or who is allowed to express opinions without being abused, then I guess something needs doing.
