He's a complete donkey, he has been utterly clueless every time I've seen him. Think of an early season Zamora.
As a season ticket holder at the Amex I would like to add a bit here. He was great in his first season but had a foot injury at the beginning of the second and came back looking half the player. Seemed to lack the ability to hold up the ball (playing as a lone striker up front) and constantly moaning and looking for free kicks. That said his goal scoring record for Brighton is pretty good (1 in 2) and a 16 goal return in a poor season (for him) is not to be sniffed at - especially since their wide men couldn't hit a barn door at 10 paces (apart from when they played us of course!) Whether he can make the step up to the PL is dependent on his desire and the quality of his service - I reckon given the players at Leicester's disposal he'll do ok - and he does have a knock of scoring big goals a la Zamora!
I noticed the constant diving and whining too, probably an extra reason as to why I can't stand him. If he's worth 7m, Remy is worth at least 3 times that.
In any normal situation I would say yes, but given the suggested release clauses it's all moot - he's only going to be 'worth' what his contract says and no more. Difference between the two is that Remy is a proven 1 in 2 striker at PL level (in arguably poor teams) Ulloa has as yet unrealised PL potential, but he undoubtedly has good feet and scores a lot with his head and could conceivably get a 15/20 goal season which would be good business for £7m. Remy in a team with real quality (like Arsenal) would be scary but I would imagine he doesn't want to go somewhere to sit on the bench (again I'm guessing unless the money is stupidly huge) - and until someone comes in (probably Spurs) with the cash he's going to stay with us. In all likelihood I think he will go, if not now then in Jan when people are getting worried. It's a shame, but we need players who want to be QPR, we've done the mercenaries - I just hope we have cover by the time he goes.
Don't rate the bloke personally. I'll be happy if he keeps Vardy, Nugent or Wood out the team assuming they're all still there.
