The thing I've notice about Barca and Real is they seem to spend huge amounts of there transfer budget on there first 11 and not much on there squad.
Because they still have one of the best youth academies in the world. They may not become starters, but they can sit on the bench or go somewhere else for a good sum of cash.

Campbell has done nothing of note since 2007/08 with us. I dont expect much from him this season. He was poor for Cardiff City last season overall.
He wont have to leave London. I would suggest that is the only reason he would go to Palace. We dont need him anyway imo.

As I mentioned earlier in this thread, signing fraizer Campbell, transfer fee and wages, would have cost less in total over the length of the contract than Ulloas transfer fee alone, but your silly £30k a week salary cap means you have to spend more. It really doesn't make a shred of sense.
AKCJ jumping the gun abit. We're agreed a fee with Brighton of around 7M and Ulloa has left Brightons training camp and flew to Austria to meet up with Nigel Pearson
