Both players are set to leave South Wales and both seem to be on their way to London. Queens Park Rangers are in discussions with City over captain Caulker who was mightily impressive last season, despite the Bluebirds dropping down the Championship. Harry Redknapp wants to partner Caulker with the experience of Rio Ferdinand, who is undergoing a medical today, at the heart of his Râs defence next season. However Palace are also keen on Caulker, although the relationship between Cardiff owner Vincent Tan and the Eagles is not the best due to a number of incidents last season making negotiations tough. The south London club are closing in on Campbell however and are set to match his release clause which is thought to be less than £1million. Tony Pulis is keen to get both Caulker and Campbell through the door, although Redknapp may have something to say about that, and with City now off to Austria talks can really get going.
