Ah, it's own page. Didn't see before posting in the new kit thread. Here's the article: Company signs two-year agreement with Barclays Premier League team. Today 12BET, the global sports betting brand, confirmed their two-year sponsorship of Hull City Tigers. The sponsorship is the largest in the club’s proud 110-year history and will run until the end of the 2015/2016 season. The 12BET logo will feature on the front of the club’s shirt as they compete in the Barclays Premier League, the most compelling, competitive and watched league in the world. The sponsorship also comes as the club embark on their first ever campaign in a European competition; ‘The Tigers’ qualified for this season’s UEFA Europa League after their historic exploits in the FA Cup last season. The global passion for Premier League teams delivers a signficant return on investment. Sponsors have the ability to reach fans in over 200 territories through live footage shown by 80 international broadcasters, billions of pages of editorial and dominating social media debate. The association with such a prestigious and global competition will provide 12BET with the perfect opportunity to achieve their objectives faster and more cost effectively. Having formerly been the principal sponsor of both Sevilla F.C. and Wigan Athletic F.C., the 12BET brand has a strong pedigree within European football. 12BET’s customers watch football from all over the world and putting the brand at the heart of the action has increased the company’s credibility, consideration and above all conversion rates. The partnership was negotiated by sports marketing agency SportQuake who will also assist in managing and delivering the global sponsorship campaign. SportQuake are sports marketing experts who specialise in helping consumer brands and rights owners to deliver commercial and cultural value through sport. In 2014 SportQuake has already completed over 100 football partnership deals including major transactions with all 20 EPL clubs. CEO of 12BET Europe, Rory Anderson, said: "‘The Tigers’ give us a great Premier League platform to engage our target audience around the world. Steve Bruce has done a brilliant job in creating a vibrant powerful team that, on their day, are capable of beating anyone in the league. We’re looking forward to working with the club and the fans and can’t wait for the start of the season away at QPR.” Hull City Commercial Manager, Simon King, said: “We are delighted to be working with 12BET. Having a global brand like 12BET with a great history of working in football is very exciting. This deal represents how far the club has come on the field and from a commercial perspective in the recent years. I welcome Rory and his team to the club and look forward to a strong future together.’’
If I was writing this press release that's the header I'd use. You dont name the specific company in this title unless it's one of the very best - Man U, Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea or Arsenal. It wouldve been the same header if it was Swansea, Stoke or Burnely. It's got nothing to do with the name change situation. What's much worse is this line: Today 12BET, the global sports betting brand, confirmed their two-year sponsorship of Hull City Tigers.
It seems the club really don't know what to call themselves. "Today 12BET, the global sports betting brand, confirmed their two-year sponsorship of Hull City Tigers." "Hull City Commercial Manager, Simon King" Amongst numerous references to just "the Tigers" Strange that there no reference to 1904...
I just don't see why we wouldn't use our name (apart from the obvious) if it read 'Hull City announce 2 year sponsorship deal' that would be fine. It sounds like it's a teaser in a national gossip column making you read on to find out who the 'Barclays Premier League Team' are, it's our own website ffs.
It was written on the wall in manderin!!!!! Is this the new 10 million Change the name to Tigers Deal??????
It's not even the article title, is the sub header that you only see once you open the page. The articles title is 12BET Becomes Official Shirt Sponsor Of Hull City
Well done to the code breakers of Bletchly....I mean Boothferry Park.....You made the club put out the press release early.
SportQuake are involved with all 20 Premier league clubs , wow that sounds lucrative for them So how much is the deal worth ?
Does this spell the end of fat shirters running around the pitch with giant balls every half time? If so, it's a good move for that alone.
Nice to see this "global brand" have still got Wigan on their website. http://www.12-bet.com/ Wigan who are now sponsored by Intersport.
