Moderation of the Board

I just read a headline on the BBC site: "Dutch liable over Srebrenica deaths."

Surely we can't have a mass murderer as a mod?

 

I make it a rule to not commit atrocities in places I can't pronounce.

 

I'd go with this. What we really is a cock of the board to maintain order.

Failing that, few could have many complaints with the way olm modded the place.

I'd also like to suggest brady to be given mod powers every third Friday and Saturday of the month, after 9pm.

To be fair, there were complaints from some of the same individuals about OLM too. The abuse and the limitations of response were a part of the reason he stepped down, which shows one of the problems if being noisy is considered to be right. Some people don't feel they need to behave like the rest.

Reading the thread linked earlier shows they've been dripping the same discredited lines for years.

 

It should be closed though. This is tedious and going nowhere for both parties.

 

Concerted and sustained mudslinging from the same 4 or 5 posters who seek to 'influence' the bored/undecided into thinking something is amiss.

And of course, all too 'busy' to offer themselves as moderators......

 

As was ever thus, but as I mentioned earlier, I tend to give the mudslingers more slack because they just create several more threads to grumble at being poorly treat because they can't fill the board with arguments from years back.
