I personally feel we have superior quality to everton, what do you guys think?

I chose everton because they are dull and i dont like them but also because they seem to be around our level.

I wouldn't say so, no. Cahill, Arteta, Osman, Fellaini, Jagielka, Saha, Beckford, Baines...all very good players who I think would walk into our team, most of them anyway.

I would have to say Yes. However, they have the better manager in DM. Worked on a ****e budget for years but always gets the best out of his teams.

I think alot of people rate Bilyaletdinov but i havent seen that much mind blowing stuff from him...

Rodwell is ok and will be good sure but i also think hes been rated too highly.

Jagielka is a good defender would like him.

Cahill i dont like and dont want even though hes a very good player.

Baines is a great player wouldnt say no to him.

This, would love Saha when fit, Baines and Arteta. Also feel Everton are a bit more consistent.

As a team, Everton are without doubt better than us, they finished above us. No one knows how we will perform next season but Everton, I can safely say will start **** but will finish top 8.

Out of all of them i would only want Baines and Jagielka over what we already have, maybe beckford and maybe arteta who is sick on his day but goes missing in alot of games.

I've said it before in threads about Everton but i'm pretty sure they only have a small budget because all the players that have been mentioned in this thread are on massive wages

I think we're on a par, roughly. I'd say any of Jagielka, Arteta, Saha and Fellaini would get in our starting XI, and plenty more would be welcome additions to the squad.

Yep as it stands right now I'd say so. The likes of Baines, Cahill, Arteta are great so it's a close call and I'd be reluctant to say whether or not this will transfer into the season though, will have to see how well our new team gels.

I think Everton are better than as but only because of the 'Moyes factor' if he left i don't think you will see the same commitment, unity and desire to play.

Well I'd say yes because when Moyes leaves I can see them going down. They simply have no financial security and I can't see a decent manager wanting to deal with the players they raise leaving for Utd or City each year!

Yes IMO Everton are better than us BUT not by much. There defence is solid with Hibbert/Coleman, Jags, Distin & Baines.
They have a brilliant midfield in the form of Rodwell(potential is there), Arteta, Cahill, Fellani(sp), Osman(I rate him), Bilyaletdinov(when on form he can be quality) & you could also say the experience of Phil Neville is vital in there team, They also have a solid & consistent PL quality 'keeper in Howard. There strikers can be a let down though but towards the end of the season Beckford showed that this season COULD be his season(scored a wonder goal against Chelsea on the last day of this past season if I'm correct) & of course Saha on his day is a class act. They need strength in depth though because towards the end of the season they started having injuries & all of the subs were mostly made up of unproven & inexperienced youngsters.

Basically they could do with some investment but I think there board policy is ''sell before you buy'', so they might be tempted to cash on the likes of Rodwell, Fellani, Arteta, etc. Although there FULL starting XI is a handful for any PL team. They may need a quality striker though & a RB(seeing as Coleman is more of a RM) if they want to challenge the top 6.

As you are 'Mr Opinion', where would you place Arteta, Beckford, Osman and Heitinga in this,

Their players who I think could maybe get into our team:

    Howard
    Baines
    Heitinga/Jagielka
    Coleman
    Arteta
    Cahill
    Saha

I quite like Everton actually, them and maybe Tottenham are teams who I'd rather see acheive than Villa/Liverpool/top 4
