ATM Review:

Story:- it’s a suspense thriller movie, the movie starts with the last working day before Christmas, the first scene shows a man working with some blueprints and structural designs as if he is planning something, The next Scene shows David coming for his job in the office, David is a accountant and he has a crush on his co worker Emily who is going to resign from her work soon, David’s co worker Corey knows about this and tells David that he should go forward and tell her that, later in the evening there is a Christmas party, Emily leaves to go home, David follows her and tells her that he will drive her home she agrees, David comes back to the party to inform his co workers that he is leaving, at that point Corey tells him that he has no vehicle to go and that David should drop him to his house as well, David does not wants to as he wants to be alone with Emily but later agrees to drive both Corey and Emily to their homes,
When they were driving Corey says that he is hungry and wants to eat a pizza, David says its late and due to holiday not much food joints are operational, Corey says he knows a pizza joint which stays open till late and wants to go there for pizza, Corey then says that he has no cash on him and that the pizza joint accepts only cash, despite the unwillingness of David, Corey convinces and forces him to stop by a ATM for cash, this ATM is situated at the end of a empty parking lot, David stops the car at a distance from the ATM so that Corey has to walk to the ATM, Corey leaves to take out cash from the ATM but when he faces some trouble with his card both Emily and David join him inside the ATM,
As the 3 are about to leave they see a big man in a Parka Coat, standing outside the ATM as if waiting for them to come out, they panic, Corey suggests that they should try to get to the car, but David & Emily suspects that the hooded man wants to rob them so decides to stay inside, they think that the attacker cannot enter without a ATM card inside the ATM, at that point a man comes to parking lot with his dog, the attacker kills the man, at this point the 3 coworkers are really scared, they want to call the police but they figure that they left their cell phones in the car, the attacker would walk up close to them if they try to come out of the ATM, in desperation they begin to kick the ATM thinking that if the ATM is attacked it will send a signal to the police & they will be here to check on it, but it fails, they feel that the attacker is robber & wants money, so they gather all cash they had on them & Emily gives her earning, Corey gives his Watch, David collects that all in a handkerchief & throws that at the hooded man, the hooded man goes to see what’s in the handkerchief & David runs towards his car but when he gets inside his car he finds out that the cables of his car are severed, it wont start, he picks up the phone & tries to call the police but the attacker comes there & attacks David, David gets away & get inside the ATM again, but he loses his phone in panic, the hooded man picks up the toolbox from David’s car and damages the heating unit in the ATM, now the ATM is getting cold & its freezing outside, David & his friends are forced to make decisions,
Emily write down “Help” on the glass wall of the ATM hoping someone would see it & come for help, the hooded man walks around the ATM making sure that they don’t leave, David & his friends are freezing in cold inside as they see a security guard in a car coming around the parking lot, they scream & tries to get the guards attention, when the guard comes close & realize what is going on he tries to call the cops but is killed by the hooded man, the 3 of them are now more emotionally broken, they begin to blame each other that they are in this situation, the boys begin to fight Emily tries to stop them, at that moment a guy walks in with a Parka coat, David & Corey attack the man and kills him, only to realize that the hooded man, their attacker is still standing outside, they just killed a man who came by to the ATM for cash just like them, they again begin to blame each other for all this, Corey takes the coat off the dead man in the ATM & when he cannot take this any more makes a run for the car, but he is caught by the hooded man & stabbed with a screw driver, after a while David & Emily realize that Corey is still alive & they bring him back inside the ATM as the hooded man follows them, its early morning now & the attacker wants to end it so he blocks the ATM door with David’s Car, he now attaches a water line through the back of the ATM & begins to fill water inside the ATM, it beings to flood inside the ATM and Corey dies due to excessive blood loss & hypothermia, David sees that there is a fire safety sprinkler system inside the ATM that goes off in case of fire inside the ATM, he lifts up Emily on his should & starts a fire in a metal dustbin with some papers, the plan works & a fire alarm goes off, but David slips in the water & they crash, Emily breaks her neck when she hit’s the side wall of the ATM and dies instantly, at this point the hooded man rams the ATM with the security guards car, the hooded man brings a portable chair & sits, the David makes a Molotov cocktail from the bottle he brought from the party, & throws it at the seated hooded man, but realize that its actually the dead security guard in a parka coat, at this point the police arrives & arrests David, the hooded man simply hides himself, when the police check the video from the ATM, they think that David is responsible for all the deaths, as David is driven out at the back of a police car he sees a man with a parka coat in the crowd of bystanders still not be able to see his face, the hooded man has planned this in such a manner that he is never seen in the ATM footage & all the evidence are against David, in the final scene the hooded unidentified man goes back to a secret section inside a storage house and begins to work with other plans of another location with an ATM, clearing that he has done this before & will do this again.

Well this movie not a really high budget movie but its decent, the movie flows with decent speed & it dose not loses its focus, the hooded man who face is never seen does project as a mysterious & shadowed figure, the visual appeal of this movie is nice a cold dark night in a small ATM with a dangerous mysterious attacker outside, the 3 main characters succeeded in projected themselves as regular people stuck in a bad situation, the blame each other & they care for each other they stop each other from going outside alone, they take blame for this & also show regret that it would not happen if they all would not have been together this night, it was a good move not to reveal the identity & the reason of the hooded man, as its good that it remains unsolved & unknown why he did this, probably he is a psycho someone who is dislikes ATMs, the direction of this movie is okay, not much useless scenes, not much time is wasted trying to project the emotions of the 3 victims, there are not much negative points in this movie but it’s not really something out of world, a decent suspense thriller,
I will give it 4.5/10

The Last Stand 2013 Review:
Story: The Story of this movie is similar to the Hollywood movie S.W.A.T
The movie starts with the scene of a small border town named Sommerton, Ray Owens(Arnold) if the Chief Sheriff there, an old but hard cop, he looks around the town to see everything is in order, the rest of his team are all amateurs who don’t have much experience, Ray goes to a diner for coffee there he sees 2 new people who are not from this town, when he tries to talk to them they don’t answer him properly and leave, he suspects that they are onto something and notes down their truck number, then he goes around looking for his juniors, they are in a ranch testing guns on a piece of meat, ray orders them to find out more about the truck,
On the other side, the FBI is making a High Profile Dead Night Transfer, of a drug lord named Gabriel Cortez, but the transport convey is attacked and Cortez gets away with the help of some of his paid mercenary units, he uses doubles as fake baits & escapes after killing a FBI senior agent & taking Agent Ellen Richards hostage, Cortez gets away in a modified Chevrolet corvette C6 ZR1, a sports car designed for high performance & speed, Agent John Bannister who was in charge of the transfer, is now on Cortez’s trail, he sets up a road block to cut off Cortez’s escape but a team of highly trained and armed military mercs in two heavy armored SUV’s fight & destroy the Road Block, Cortez escapes from the road block, here in Sommerton a old farmer tells the two guys from the diner to get off his property but is shot by a sniper, they are a team of merc whos are securing the area for Cortez to escape USA & cross over to Mexico,
When the farmer who is killed fails to show up for his usual milk deliver in the diner, the diner owners daughter calls Ray at 4:00 in the morning, he sends his two officers jerry Bailey & Sarah Torrance investigate the farmer’s home, when the officers find that the farmer is murdered they call Ray, Rays shows up there, & checks the body, at this point Agent John calls Ray anticipating that Cortez may try to escape from USA from Sommerton, Agent John also dispatches 2 SWAT teams to Sommerton for help, the 2 officers Jerry & Sarah find tire tracks that goes towards the valley from the farmers home, they follow it, when they get there they are attacked by a highly trained & armed Group of military mercs, Jerry is shot, & Sarah is pinned down by superior firepower, Ray gets there & kills some mercs gets Sarah & Jerry & escapes, but Jerry dies coz of his bullet wounds, Cortez sees the two Swat Team vehicles on the road as he drives towards Sommerton, with some fancy driving tactics he immobilizes both the vehicles & moves forward, Ray calls Agent John & asks for info, when John tells Ray that the person who is coming towards Sommerton is Cortez, Ray understands the Gravity & seriousness of the situation, Ray tells Agent John that Cortez’s hired mercs lead by Thomas Burrell are building a military style mobile assault bridge, between the narrow valley from USA to Mexico that is present in Sommerton,
When ray finds out that the SWAT unit send for Sommerton is not going to be there in time, also that the national guard, border patrol and Army wont make it in time, Ray & his team decides to make a Last Stand to stop Cortez, Agent John Suspects that there is a inside man in FBI who helped Cortez escape, he asks his second in command to do a full financial check on the entire unit that is involved in this case, then he flies off to Arizona, Ray promotes 2 individual first is Dinkum who is a crazy gun lover who has a lot of guns, & second Frank Martinez who is a former soldier who specializes in assault & Sniping,
Well the final fight scene starts ray barricades the roads with large vehicles, Burrell shows up to clear the path in the town, Ray comes there in a school bus with a Vickers Machine Gun at the back & kills lot of mercs, Cortez shows up some there, his car is damaged so he tries to run away on foot, ray confronts him on the bridge, they fight Ray wins & arrests Cortez, in the end Agent John arrives to take Cortez under his custody and arrests as he finds out that Agent Ellen Richards has taken a bribe from Cortez & has helped him in this escape, Ray goes inside the Diner to rest.

Well I saw this movie only coz of Arnold, I mean even though he is old he is still 10 times better than every hero at present in Hollywood or even other film industries, the movie is not really interesting, the plot is very simple its basically a couple of hours story, from night to the next day afternoon or so, the fight scenes are not really extraordinary, the acting is very medium level & Arnold has not done much stunts, the shootouts have nothing new in them, they could have been shot better, the movie does wastes some times in emotions & character backgrounds which could have been avoided, the race car stunts are not out of world too just some fancy moves that you have already seen in Death Race actually Death Race is way better compared to the car stunts in this movie, the primary villain is not a hardcore one or a really smart master mind kinda villain, that’s Cortez, Burrell, is a cold hearted trigger happy kinda villain but he too does not leaves any mark, I have to say Arnold’s role in this movie is not really great, his character does not leaves a big impression in the mind of the viewers, even though you are a die hard Arnold fan you can give this movie a miss if you want & trust me you wont be missing much coz the movie has nothing much in it,
I will give it 2.5/10

Anyways Wrote this lines in around 10 minutes, during the sunset, the primary emotions of this song is anger sadness, frustration, mostly negative emotions but some hope as well some sense of fighting back the bad in ones life, some projection of realization of strength or a sense of rise, so mixed emotions as i said earlier
