Austin to get a chance before Remy. Simple.

And if they can play together, then they play together. Only when Austin truly struggles should he lose his place to Remy.

I think Austin is great and believe he'll step up to life in the Premiership, but currently Remy is proven at this level. If it is a straight choice between the two, therefore, it would have to be the drink-driving, rape-accused, greedy bastard prevaricator of a Frenchman.

Both will need decent service, though.

Now there was a top striker! It was a shame we never got to see the dream pairing of Mr Hulse and Mr Maiga.

Both. In a 4-4-1-1 with Loic sat in the hole. Charlie holds the ball up better than Loic, so he should be the point guy, with Loic, Junior, and Matty Phillips running through.

Austin up front, Remy mixing it up just behind Austin and working together.

why is that.... both are Rangers players.... simply some think that Remy is a better player and proven. Doesn't make them sh1t fans. No matter what people may think at the moment about Remy, if he played and scored regularly everything will be forgotten. Thats just the way it is.

I think that Remy is a better player and proven too. But is that all it comes down to these days?

No matter how much we all love Charlie, Remy is a level above him.

Would like it to be Austin but fear he may struggle a bit ... Remy needs just a split second and it's in ... I watched Austin hack about in a few matches last year and am on record as saying he cost us at least 8 points ... but of course he won games as well. Will be a big year for him and he will become a great player from Kintbury Rangers to the Premier league in six years? is a big ask IMO. In fact let's see who turns on him from the votes if he can't cut it. Zamora is likely to go past him in the pecking list while smart defenders have Austin in their pocket.

The same could be said about Nugent, and the Burnley two ... if they were mustard then they would have gone long ago to bigger teams

Austin however will try his hardest and will need to take every chance... Remy does just that

Austin better from corners of course but Barton will be taking them

Loic and Charlie are strikers that will compliment each other, not compete. They will make different runs, from different positions. if we have them both, then they make a great front pairing that can play as a 4-4-1-1- or 4-4-2 equally well.

It's not a simple 'either/or' question, because the real answer, of course, is 'both of them please'.

It's probably a fairer question to debate between Charlie and the Icelandic guy, he's more of a poacher, and from the vid posted on the thread about him, he seems to make the same runs into spaces that Charlie does.

If we are going to play both we need a new midfield. One that involves a class holding player.

When has Remy played 'in the hole' or as a number 10?
