I got to page 8 and got bored and I have to go out. I reckon we need a screening process before the vote.

It's worth remembering, the vote is only provisional, as the mod has to be approved by the board owner and supermods.

PLT is a decent mod and shouldn't be at risk if he puts himself up for re-election.

But with DMD unwilling to take the risk of losing his seat, OLM is probably the least risky of the remaining candidates to keep the forum going.

Personally I think chicken-**** Chaz would make a great mod.

 

Chazz, Carmine, Party and Happy said they didn't want to do it, and I think a lot of those probably don't even know they've been nominated.

 

Tuckin said he's not interested as well.

I know its probably starting to take the piss, but the best idea with the least amount of pain would probably be to make a new thread in which people who would be willing to do it themselves (not nominated by other people) can put their names forward and just have that. Saves going through this ****e and people pulling out because they don't want to do it.

This has been a proper root canal of a thread.

Looking at the list that Macca posted, and given the fact that both Tuckin and Chazz have ruled themselves out, I'll go with OLM, PLT, and Macca as my three votes (assuming we are choosing three). I know that all three have pro-CTWD views but they also post intelligently and are knowledgeable on what I would call "football" matters (as opposed to anti-Allam harangues). OLM is the most informed poster on here about the club IMO, and both PLT and Macca are young energetic and want the job. Its going to be a great season and we need three mods who can help us keep the board on track and not getting sidetracked into areas that half of us at least are sick of hearing about. Good luck lads!!!
