Nope, I'm saying you compared a result over Spain to a result over Australia. Completely incomparable. Australia actually nearly got a result against Holland, which speak volumes.

The dutch were very entertaining.

The did it all, all out attack, great defensive displays, thrillers, thrashings and nail biters.

Only Germany were better to watch at the WC.

Liked Chile Colombia and France more than Dutch. Holland played antifoot v Argies

 

They were so entertaining they didn't score in 240 minutes of qtr and semi final football (and that's with Robben in the side!). If Chelsea had of done that it would be called parking 17 buses or some nonsense.

 

Yes but my point was in response to Purley calling the Dutch boring, nothing to do with the quality of there performances. From a purely entertainment point of view the Dutch games where very enjoyable to watch

 

So of the 7 games they played you deliberately hand pick the 2 0-0 draws, yet ignore the fact they scored 15 in the other 5. Talk about manipulating the facts.

The Costa Rica game was actually a really good game, the Dutch just didn't take there chances. It was still fascinating to watch though, as there was always that chance of a big upset. In the Semi's it was the Argies parking the bus, this is a team who managed 8 goals in 7 matches ffs. The Argies parked the bus in every knockout game, hence they only scored 2 and conceded 1 in 4 knockout games, with 3 going to extra time. It certainly wasn't the Dutch who spoilt that game

 

As you can see Chav FC fans crying about a Dutch team, but fail to see UTD are and will always be the team to watch.
