It should be. **** track, best moment Webber's Crash last year. But I would give it one more chance next year and then if not good enough, just screw it.
I haven't visited it so I can't say for sure but a mate went to the first one (when it looked like a ****hole on TV) and he said it was an amazing place. The wide shots of the circuit surroundings look gorgeous to me.
By far the most boring race of the season, it should be dropped and replaced by the Valencia test track (if they want to keep it in spain)
Even with DRS it's still a borefest. It doesn't have anything for me... No history, bland track and awful racing. Drop it.... there are much better tracks out there.
Germany is far more deserving of two races than Spain. France doesn't have one. Russia doesn't have one. The sport should go back to Africa too in my view. There 21 races on next year's calendar, which is already a push, even if as a fan I don't mind that. There are too many alternatives to justify two races in Spain. Sadly, I think getting rid of Valencia will only happen if old age catches up with Bernie, and/or Spain goes the way of Greece.
It really must go when its contract expires. There are several new races in the pipeline and the calendar can only be extended so far; surely there can be no genuine justification for keeping it.
Valencia should be canned immediately. Every race at that track has been shockingly bad. I get the feeling that Webber crashed and flew up in the air last year in a desperate effort to try and liven things up. He's a trooper.
Yep, France would be my number one preference as a replacement, preferably Paul Ricard. I don't know how long Valencia has on its contract but it would give the French time to set things up then make a straight swap with Valencia, nice and simple.
