Possibly good news (if you believe anything the Daily Mail has to say)....the fee for Ki could be just under £6m. Would be chuffed with that one
Haven't been up to date with any goings on for the last month due to travelling but I just read something that very much disturbed me... Why the **** are we loaning Michu to Napoli?? Selling him is bad enough in itself, but loaning him!? Exactly what do we gain from that? I just read it here http://www.southwales-eveningpost.c...begin-Michu/story-21464248-detail/story.html? If anyone with more info can rubbish this rumour asap I would be very grateful. P.S Why the **** are we selling Hernandez!!??
Henandez has spent way too much time on the treatment table, montero is more than adequate replace ment.
We havent signed Montero, If he comes then great. Hernandez played well for us last season and he actually made 35 appearences.
Its been documented in the post by Jenkins that we need to sell before making further additions, And Hernandez seems to want out anyway.
This is my only criticism of Jenkins. Given the mobey we had for Allen and Rodgers we haven't soent much in this league overall (maybe someone knows the net spend). We need to stop being so slow and just get the deals over the line asap and stop haggling over the odd million here or there.
would you haggle over a million valley, i certainly would its a hell of a lot of money.. Michu and Ki are still swans players at the moment as no deal can be reached yet. we want cash for michu as we don't want to loan him out as it is no benefit to us as we might as well use him ourselves. Napoli have one option and that is to pay what we want or forget it. They should pay if they really want him but jinx is right not to loan. Ki is now 50/50 on joining villa atm down from a certainty.
Definitely Dai, especially if it meant getting the quality of player required to survive in this league.
Can you see jinx doing that though With Ki the figure will be well below £6m due to what is left on his contract but im not sure we will sell the way monk is talking. So far we have got rid of the dead wood and recruited well and we still hold the cards with Bony, michu and Ki.....Bony will go the minute jinx is happy with the deal, Michu has to rely that napoli will pay what we want and Ki is in the hands of monk. who knows what will happen there....We may of course end up with nobody going but that is the least likely to happen...
Swansea City edge closer to Jefferson Montero signing amid reports winger is en route to Wales By South Wales Evening Post | Posted: July 15, 2014 By Gareth Vincent "JEFFERSON Montero's £4 million move to Swansea City is edging closer to completion amid suggestions that he is heading to Wales for a medical. The Evening Post reported last weekend that Swansea hoped to clinch the signing of Montero from Mexican club Monarcas Morelia this week. And they look to be on course to get the deal done with reports in Mexico suggesting Montero is on his way to in Britain ahead of a possible medical on Wednesday. Swansea have been quietly confident for some time that they will win the race for Montero, who played in all three of Ecuador's games at the recent World Cup. And it seems the former Real Betis player is now set to be unveiled as Garry Monk's fifth summer signing." Hope so!
He is booked in for a medical tomorrow i have been told. Whether he turns up is another matter. I think he will though...
The Montero deal seems to be a realistic one so it looks like Pabs takes the exit door at the same time. If I was a betting man (and Terror I am not) I'd wager that Ki will probably remain with us next season - now this will undoubtedly mean he will be sold by the weekend
Monterro looks a proper winger very much in the mould of Routs and Dyer. Will be a very good signing. I hope.
Contrary to earlier reports saying Montero wasn't coming it looks like he's about to sign according to the Beeb: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28323298
I see Brendan and the scousers are taking the piss again, they know we turned down Spurs offer of 8m so they do the same. They can piss off and if you want ben pay what we want. http://football-talk.co.uk/93419/tr...ee-opening-bid-for-tottenham-target-rejected/
Agreed dragon. it just seems the arrogance of clubs like Liverpool to think we will accept an offer from them that we have already turned down from another club.
Apologies for the late reply but my internet's been practically unuseable for a few days. I'm happy to say I'm 100% Jack We're just a family of wanderers! It feels to me like we're fighting for scraps in the transfer market and when we do get a good sniff all the predators start circling
Looks like ben could well be on his way now. If this is to be believed. http://metro.co.uk/2014/07/16/totte...vies-transfer-after-agreeing-10m-fee-4800352/
