Its in a kind of decorated/shaped bowl. I was going to eat it straight out of it but if i manage to tip it onto a plate the result could be magical!

Can we get on with it and have a vote. This is getting almost as tedious as the rants from the CTWDers. What happened to the idea of putting everything connected with the CTWD/anti-Allam blitherings on a separate Sticky by the way so the rest of us dont have to put up with them every day.

My votes go to OLM and Chazz. Lets get it settled and move on to more important and interesting discussions.

 

i will have a crack at it if you like, not sure how effective i will be, but if your not in it, you cant win it.

 

Part of the problem with appointing OLM/ Macca are they're the key people with the CTWD rants. When OLM's not going off on one (CTWD) he was quite good in the past, but will his new passion affect people who don't agree with the campaign on here. I've said it before it's very CTWD orientated on here and we could do with a different angle from the mods.

 

Could someone please explain to me, how being ctwd, might affect the job a moderator does ? I'm a bit thick see.

 

I suppose it's got to need someone who is on the other side of the fence to CTWD to actually want to do it.

I don't think anyone has volunteered yet?

I'm on holiday so can only come on on my phone, meaning I'll struggle to set up a poll.

It's been a while now so maybe Dutch or someone should start a poll, the difficulty though will be going through this thread to figure out who's actually interested in doing it.

Earlier in the thread Happy expressed some concerns about the legitimacy of the poll. Dunno if he really thought we'd fix it or what but to be clear - it'll be a public poll so everyone's vote can be seen. That's what we've done before and will prove the legitimacy of it.

Canada - we'll probably have the Name Change sticky at the top again once the season starts and our dear leader kicks off again, which may well coincide with the removal of the current summer transfer stickies. But at the moment there's little to talk about on the name change subject. That doesn't mean however that anything CTWD related will go in there. If a CTWD rep, or that of any other group, wants to post public communications on here then they're free to do so. If it's bollocks then people are free to tell them that. The name change sticky is about putting all posts on one topic together to tidy things up, just like the transfer ones, and shouldn't be seen as a method of keeping a certain group quiet because a small minority on the board don't like them. I'll use the comparison to the transfer threads again, modt transfer stuff goes in there, but we might have specific Ince/Snodgrass/Dawson threads from time to time too. The same is true of the name change topic when something significant comes up.

 

My choice for 4 mods are;

PLT, OLM, Macca and Ricardo.

 

My career as a soft funk bassist is more on track than this thread.

Wack the pole up and lets get it done with so everybody votes and nobody gets what they want and we all cry for a bit and get on with our insignificant little lives.

 

I think the other issue will be people having to consider that the supermods and board owner have the final say.

I'll have a look later and set up a poll for the additional mod.

 

I think we should have a pre poll to see if we should revote all four moderator positions befor selecting any mods, many seem to be in favour of this idea. Show of hands?

If necessary, we could have a poll to determine whether we should have a poll about how many positions we should be voting in.
