Really don't understand why our club always sends out players on loan. Aspas isn't going to be a first team regular after this season, so why not just flog him for a few mill, cut our losses and move him on?
He's not a youngster! He's at the point where age subtracts from his value, never mind his contract being another year less.
After last season we cant just expect clubs begging to take him He has good history in Spain but how much could last year have dented his confidence? He's still got to pass a medical yet anyway, which he should obv
Probably found it left over outside the gates after SkyNews had bought it with lighter fuel and matches but still couldn't get a 'fan' to burn a Suarez shirt.
Aspas being sent on loan may generate 500k or even a cool mil for all we know and his wages paid? The reality is lfc were rode sideways by celta last summer. 7 or 8 mil for this guy was ridiculous and so I reckon the reality is we'd get 2 or 3 mil max back and Seville are going.... Huh.... 5mil? F off.... So I dunno why they even want him but anyway. 2mil? V ok maybe we get 3 next year about but if he gets us only 1.5 next year we are still ok
Arsenal apparentl 1/7 to land Khedeira for a fee around £23m as he only has 1 year left on his contract. Be absolutely gutted if they get Sanchez and him. Two perfect signings for us!
If they keep Walcott and Ramsey fit along with those signings, we will be struggling for top 4 that's for sure.
Well in theory Arsenal don't matter as you assume they're always going to get top 4 based on previous years. It's United/Spurs/Everton. If we are ahead of those 3, then we'll be top 4. But agree if Arsenal keep their players fit and sign those along with another CB then I think they'll be fighting for the title longer than they did last year.
Would love Reus. Quality player, young as well and versatile to play upfront of out wide. Lukaku I'm still really undecided on. I'm not sure if he'd be good or not... prob worth the risk to annoy Everton fans Like the bit about Evra going to Juve to "soften the blow" of losing Vidal. That's like losing your wife... but to soften the blow you've lost her to another woman Drogba signing for Chelsea? Can't see any benefit in that at all.
That seems to be names we've been linked to so far. Why go for Bony and Lukaku, they are virtually the same player. Also Swansea bigwigs keep denying any bids have been made. Not particularly keen on either of them TBH. Jay Rodriguez, this is just lazy now, seems like jornos are just picking Soton players and linking them to us. We have Studge, Sterling and Markovic who will do a similar job to Jay Rodriguez. So he's not needed. Turan! Every ****ing transfer window. Unless he's going cheap can't see it happening, missed the bus on that one years ago and now age 27 doesn't fit the FSG policy (unless cheap as I mentioned) Reus.... Yes please.
How do you work that out? It's a team game, not a game of individuals + we haven't finished our business yet + Rodgers is a modern manager and can change things up when needed unlike Wenger. We'll do better than Arsenal next season, our club is evolving, and if you can't see that you're blind. #nooffencemeant
Heaven forfend.... I'm sure there are sound footballing reasons for a team who's manager bemoaned his lack of a top-class front line bringing in a 36 year-old to solve their problems.
