I think Turan's agent is the one leaking all the Arda Turan links every season. He's a well know fan of Liverpool (Turan, not the agent), and would love to join us. I don't know if we've ever really looked at him, but they're dangling the carrot in front of Liverpool saying "come get me, my dream is to live in Bootle".
f**. f**ity f** f**aby f** it: http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...ss-out-on-Xherdan-Shaqiri-after-Roma-interest £16m! For f**ing f**'s sake! We're talking about Turan (good player, but 27?) for twice that amount! Bollocks.
thats 5 days old donga, what's happened since then? havent heard anything about shaqiri in the media, and it does say reports in italy suggest lol.
Yeah, heard that somewhere else, and with a few players leaving Munich he'll probably get the chance he wanted now. Still thought we'd at least meet the buyout close though.
With Lazar Markovic having already said farewell to Benfica and their supporters via his official Facebook page, the 20-year-old Serbia winger's switch to Liverpool for a fee of around £20million is likely to be wrapped up by Tuesday.
By now he should have had the medical and taken the lean photos. Now the 8 articles detailing his history and qualities, plus his interviews and Brendan's comments will need to be written.
Yes, right now... he's a nobody with a lot of potential... the moment he has that lean photo taken we will know he is world class and better than Suarez[sup]tm[/sup]!
He was suspended for Europa final (for scrapping in the semi with a Juve player, when he was on the bench!) Ive read some Chelsea fan who says he watched Benfica a lot and he is some player
The Stoke City manager is keen to bring the winger back to the Britannia Stadium, where he impressed on loan over 2013-14, but says that the ball is in the Reds' court Stoke City manager Mark Hughes is still hopeful of securing the services of Liverpool winger Oussama Assaidi on a permanent basis. The Moroccan spent last season on loan at the Britannia Stadium and enjoyed a relatively impressive campaign, the highlight of which came when he scored a spectcular goal to give his side a 3-2 win over Chelsea in December. Hughes is keen to add another winger to his ranks but reports suggest that a move for Assaidi has stalled due to issues over fitness and the club's finances. "We are where we are on that one," the Potters boss told The Sentinel. "Ideally, if we can do something then, yes, we will. "He's someone we know and someone we know can have an impact so, yes, we would like to see if something can be done with Ossie but obviously he isn't our player and that means the ball is in Liverpool's court." Hughes is pleased with Stoke's business so far this summer, which has seen them bring in Mame Biram Diouf, Phil Bardsley, Steve Sidwell and Dionatan Teixeira, though the former Manchester City and Fulham boss is eager to make further additions before the start of the new season. "People are coming back from the World Cup so things can move on quite quickly," he added. "We are still keen to add to the squad if the right quality at the right price is available but we are in a good place because of the early work already done."
Ah! Mark Hughes... the man who couldn't win the Premier League with all the riches of Dubai behind him... He's taken a liking to our Assman. That's perfectly OK with me!
