Lawrenson has boiled my piss for about 15 years pretty much since I started watching football properly. He makes awful embarrassing dad jokes all the way through his commentary and his opinions are crap its as if he doesn't even understand the game. As for his predictions well somebody who knew nothing about football would pick the same reults as him. He picks results based off teams names and puts no consideration to form or anything. Its always a 2-0 win or a 1-1 draw. They are as interesting as his bull**** commentary and punditry.
He spoiled the final for me with his stupidity. He's always very keen to sneer at players for minor errors which comes across as jealousy because they're playing and he isn't. He trots out threadbare old clichés he must have picked up in the dressing room 3 decades ago, still thinks they're funny
Even Uncle Sepp was surprised by the election of Messi, but it was not his fault (again). Apparently the election was done by the FIFA technical group of which Gerard Houllier is chairman, Scousers eh?
