    You'd be surprised....

There's one of the best beds known to mankind and about a quarter of lovely weed.

    I wish I was there now :(

I live in Brighton now <diva>

Might move back to London for the winter, the commute would be a **** in the rain/dark.

Streatham is a horrible place, most of South London is <ok> <jonnoland>

Same job, still not been bummed after nearly 8 years of living there.

I'm surrounded by young innocent hippy students and lots of drugs, why wouldn't I want to live there?

It's only £200 per month more than living + transport in London, the idea was that I'd go pub less because I have to commute further...

Instead I just spend hours commuting, either pissed or very hungover. Sort of works though...

(not really, am probably going to move back again for the winter as I'm probably getting another promotion at work :))

I'm trying to book something for the end of this week. Still haven't found anything, been pulling hair out for a week browsing the internet looking for some value. Thought I had a wee villa in the Algarve sorted last night but some bastard booked it just before me. At this rate I'll end up going to fricken Malta.

Also, after a conversation with Dev (mostly involving the quest to find Maddie in Portugal) and a few emails to care hire companies, I only just realised that a lot of these companies require a Credit Card (rather than a Debit Card) to hire a car - and it's seriously restricted my options on such short notice. How to **** have I managed to rent about 5 cars in the past without this being an issue? I reckon the ****s were just too tired (and not paid enough) to refuse my debit card when I've turned up at the desks. Also who to **** has credit cards anymore? They went from being cool and professional years ago, to being the vice of plebs with no self-control - sort this ****e out car hire companies! <grr>

Why are there no canaries in the Canary Islands?

Lots of canned foodstuffs but not a single canary. It's a puzzler.

Always book with a credit card, you'll get your coin back if it's a con.
