And YOU know the level of debt do you?................And YOU know the payment details do you?............you should approach either the Malaysians or Sam Hamman with your PROOF I'm sure the Malaysians would reward you, after all look at all the money you'd save them paying to very expensive accountants and barristers. Or approach Hamman I'm sure he'd be suitably grateful, after all with your PROOF he stands to pick up £30 million ......................you are definitely missing a trick here, you might even make enough to clear Swansea's rent arrears...........now is your chance to do something positive for your club and your city, get in there, you will become a legend at the Liberty........................You never know you might even get your name in the Evening Post.........the Freedom of the City perhaps, the sky's the limit for such a well informed chap as yourself...............you might even get elected as an MP for Swansea.........then with your connections and obvious financial acumen, well you should make Chancellor at least. Once you are in place you can solve the UK's financial problems, then they will doubtless appoint you as head of the IMF, which would give you a seat on the board of the World Bank...........then you can sort out the Third Worlds debts, which would help bring an end to famine and hardship.........you can carve your niche in history, and go down as the saviour of the world. All you have to do is get yourself down to the CCS with your PROOF and they would raise statues to you all over the world.............this is your shot at immortality go for it

On the other hand you might just be talking through your arse

guys we need to grow up and accept that both clubs have been run by clowns in the past, but we've moved forwards since then and are now (in the case of ccfc at least) getting back to being run like a good football club should be run. i dont know much about swanseas finances but what i do know is that only a kid on his summer holidays would be bored enough to keep commenting on this thread when theres more interesting things to be debating on their own jacks board <ok>

Lukey boy, nobody ripped anyone off from the current regime, they bought out criminals who had a controlling interest in the swans, they paid for petty to **** off because he was only interested in selling the vetch and us down the river, he accumulated massive debts that the club had no hope of paying, he basically used the club's credit card and ****ed people over, when they took over by paying him off they realised the mess he left, there was no hope that these debts could be paid, so the choice was stark either liquidation and nobody would have got nothing! Or enter into a legal framework called a CVA , which enabled people to get something

Now you lot are so high and mighty that we entered admin twice, you are wrong ! More than 60% of clubs have entered into an agreement to pay creditors, including you with the revenue, so don't go all we are whiter than White, you are not! You still have Langston hanging over you, you have entered into agreement with them to reduce payments, the fact is football finance is a mess, you have been using 98% of your income for wages, how is that sustainable ? Your focus on the swans is your way of escaping the mess that your club has been in for years!

we know this, our finances have been in a mess for many years, and probably wont improve significantly unless we get promotion. no cardiff fan in their right mind would deny that the club has been run unsustanably for the past few years, in fact thats why we have got a new manager who will hopefully look to youth a bit more, instead of DJ's method of getting in experienced players on big wages.

tbh i dont care about squabbling about langston, we've got a new set of owners and CEO who will hopefully run the club in a more sensible way, in fact, i have said here before that swansea have been a very well run club in the past few years, and we should try and emulate the style of play and get promoted without breaking the bank.

Blimey, it feels like running a marathon reading through this thread. bottom line is the swans have been harking on how poorly the bluebirds have been run in the past and have gloated at alleged debt.
The Swans now appear to be reneging on agreements when they are going into the Premier league. So it's pay back for the Swans who have commented on our alleged debts and now have to defend their club.
Jager/Luke, I get both points and can clearly see both points and the mythical 16k is out there somewhere ;)

The fact is the Bluebirds have been run badly, I am not having a go, and I don't gloat over this, but in general its time that the football world is run as a business, and a business primary reason for existing is to provide a service or end product, and to make money.

The Swans have been run properly for years, yes there are hiccups like any business, but in general a company that makes money ethically and without breaking laws should be the aim of all clubs, only spend what you have, I was in the speculation business for 18 years, I saw a lot of broken dreams, and lot of people lose everything, so its not to speculate to accumulate, its to take measured risks that involve a lot of small steps to achieve.

Now honestly that is my last post on this thread!

Not suggesting you were having a go Jager, others have and both clubs are now better run then they have been historically.
    SBFF bet you're right ;)

    UNBELIEVABLE!
Jagger Jenkins comes on our board all guns blazing convincing us he could prove so much of what we know to be true is in fact a myth eg. liberty rent arrears,16,000,current and previous debts, and yet I have so far seen no links to prove that his methods are anything more than his personal opinion which are diversionary tactics to deflect attention away from his chairmans shortcomings.Easier to stick to your own board unless you can prove otherwise.

Absolutely spot on Bobby - the guy has deflected every attempt to put up or shut up.

No links as to his claims about the 16k attendance trigger - just a load of generalised waffle about their poor financial history and our more recent problems in that area.

Jager - you've proved one thing - you're as slippery as Sam and can spin it with the best. If you can't substantiate your claim (and you can't), you should admit it's a figment of someone's imaginative mind and in the way you presented it, is actually a load of fabricated bollucks.

    Spark!
If he can prove his point fair dues to the guy.I respect his loyalty to his club but to try bullying others on another board into believing his version of events is a bit rich.I'm glad he's calmed down enough to realise he is trying to preach to the unconverted.Loyal supporter though.
