Anyone know when the first lot of televised fixtures are to be selected? Got some mates from university coming over for the Man City game and have a feeling that will be on the tele. Struggling to arrange plans for that weekend without knowing when the football will kick off.
It was supposed to be last Wednesday but I think they've still not agreed on who's showing what so it may be this Wednesday instead.
We've all graduated and settled down in our first jobs. They are people who I knew from my time at university.
Just ignore him, he's bitter about people with an education, job, home, darker skin colour than him etc the Allams must be his worst nightmare come to pass. Should find out next week about the fixtures but as ever, just remember they are still likely to change randomly all season long.
Not true. Fixtures only move later in the season due to the cup competitions/Europe. They don't move "randomly". TV games are usually picked up to 3 months in advance and are basically set except for the above reason.
Should find out today/tomorrow the full list. However, the opening weekend live matches have been confirmed. Man Utd vs. Swansea (12:45, Saturday 16/8 - BT Sports) Burnley vs. Chelsea (Sky) Newcastle Utd vs. Man City (Sky) Liverpool vs. Southampton (Sky) Source: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...ited-to-feature-on-BT-on-opening-weekend.html

In addition, our Tottenham Hotspur home game will now be played Sunday 23 November at 16:00 on SKY Sports.
I look forward to the Spurs v Liverpool game at 01:30 on the 31st August Sorry quoted the wrong post wanted the one with this link http://www1.skysports.com/football/competitions/premier-league/fixtures/august-2014
So they've just moved 3 of our games, in the first few months of the season, for TV... Expect the unexpected is the way to approach the dates of games!
They've moved three for Sky yeah (plus whatever BT show). Some of our games may move from Saturday to Sundays due to the Europa League. So I stand by my explanation that games don't move "randomly".
No City games on BT sport thankfully,,,, so far. www.sport.bt.com/sportfootball/football/live-football-on-bt-sport-S11376627423099 A full BT listing so far. No real shocks on many of the selected live games (by both sky and bt sport) especially Burnley's first 2 home fixtures.
