Here is the list of co-sponsors with their donations so far who followed my original £200 sponsorship offer.(in donation order). Apologies if I have missed anyone.

    CANADATIGER £5
    The Omega Man £40
    Barmbey's Tan £10
    Ernie Shackleton £20
    originallambrettaman £100
    Charlie 1 £25
    Irememberwaggy £25
    Perfect Tigers £40
    tigerscanada £80
    Lincoln Tiger £50
    Calgary Tiger £50
    WhittlingStick £5
    Fez £25

Hull,Hell and Happiness has yet to name an amount. Also CANADATIGER may want to adjust his donation as it came with a suggestion for everyone to donate £5 for entering the sweepstake well before my original prize offer.

Grand Total currently stands at £675 to be given to a charity (or charities) nominated by the 3 winners.

My suggestion is as follows: (sorry, a bit long winded !).

I'd recommend starting a new thread once the WC final winner is known in order to simplify the process.

Once the winning team has decided which charity/charities is/are to be involved, i.e. 1,2 or 3 charities AND we have reconfirmed the amounts each donor will submit (see Mrs.BLUE_MOUNTAINS_BEAR's post (#362 above)), we can divide up the total pot appropriately and have the winners publish the official web-sites on here to ensure secure payment.
The winners can use the ratified final published donors list with amounts and allocate (as near as possible evenly to each selected charity) the charity to which a particular donor should send payment.
Each donor can use the official web-sites of the charities to determine their preferred method of payment - e.g. cheque, credit card or whatever. This should be the most secure way to do it without using a middle man. Official charities "how to contact us to make donations" may require a phone call to set up payment method.

Someone suggested in an earlier post "handing over cheques" at half time at a City home game to publish not606 Hull City's forum efforts for charity. Anyone have any idea how /who we have to contact at HCAFC to see if we can do it ?

I'll go with the majority, but that seems over complicated and some may want to donate anonymously. What's involved in setting up something like a 'just giving' site?

This is why I preferred nominating one charity (my nomination was Dove House Hospice, but I am easy on anything Hull based and not too controversial) and those that want to, simply doing so, on-line. I am happy to wedge in £25, but I think there is no need to make it an accountable donation - just open one 'giving' site and let's see what we end up with; there's something a little distasteful in measuring charitable thoughts and actions. The winners should nominate the charity, but there will be three winners! Each nominate their charity, run a poll, with a five day deadline, most votes gets the dosh - Mrs BMB picks in the event of a tie. Keep it simple st . . .

Hope you are all hale and hearty; we are busy supporting my daughter, and her family, who is trying very hard to have her daughter; 28 weeks and it is imminent, one way or the other - she's had the other at 26 weeks and full term, but that, unfortunately, is life.

Let's trust folk and do better than the football, which has not been world class. <ok>

I like the original thought, that the three winners tell us which charity they support and the money is split three ways as best as possible.

I do have another suggestion, how about a Not606 Hull City giving page, that is ongoing. Why stop with the World Cup, when we could have the later rounds of the League and FA cups?

I've had quick look, and it looks simple enough to set one up. As it was your gesture that started it, what do you think Mrs Bear?

Also, any volunteers to create and look after the page if it's set up?

As for causes, Dove House or The Samaritans are two I'd put forward, but sadly we're spoiled for choice.

The Poster that first suggested the charity idea was tigerscanada so believe he has precedence over me in how the donations reach the chosen Charity/Charities. Originally I just sponsored the competition offering a cash prize and the charity donations took off after tigercanada's post.

Not sure Justgiving allows a split between charities & I believe they have to be given at the time of setting up the page, so you may need more than 1 page.

Additionally remember that Justgiving also take a decent sized cut of the proceeds, normally this is covered from the gift aid if a donor select that option, but non UK taxpayers cannot add gift aid

Congratulations to No:6. Can the winners now agree on a charity please - preferably one with a "Just giving" type link - so that donations can be made on a voluntary basis? Thanks and congratulations to Spanner for setting up and maintaining this site - a good bit of fun.

The idea of using the "Just Giving" site seems to simplify things for donors & I assume it's a secure method (and anonymous) for any donor.
A number of people on here suggested using that method, I think I recall Spanner82 volunteering to set one up for us. Is that still the case Spanner82 ? Can we set one up in the name of "not606 Hull City" ?

It'll certainly simplify matters further if the 3 co-winners ( PhilHul, Sharpy & myself) can agree on a single charity.

I'll put forward "Alzheimers Society UK" as my choice, but will go with any registered charity the other two guys agree to.

Cheers Spanner82...and thank you & your video team for setting this up, along with all those who participated.
Are you still willing to set up a "Just Giving" facility for those who have pledged to use once the winners have agreed to a charity ?
    Thanks

Just got off the phone to Just Giving. they can only do 1 charity per page so would be difficult to split percentage wise. I will however look for a suitable alternative

EDIT - Just looked at Virgins just fundraise page...they charge £100 to set up so thats a no no
