Sitting here with a beer/cure watching Mayo beat Galway in Gaelic Football. Half decent match and the first part of my double, waiting on Donegal to beat Tyrone now. I am a fan of Gaelic football, not so much Hurling although I respect it for its hardness. What do the Brits here think of the sport? Ever seen a game? I am, first and foremost a Soccer man but this is far and away my second sport.

Solid game I reckon, would like to see it broadcast over here. Anywhere on the net showing this game?

    1. It's OK, the scoring system takes a bit of getting used to but I think it's alright overall.

I call it football, I just called it Soccer there to differentiate from GAA football.

It's a point for getting it over the bar and three for a goal. Hardly rocket science Erik.

It's on BBC NI. You can get it on Virgin were you get all the regional BBC channels.

Yeah, I know, I maybe phrased my point badly. I meant it's weird seeing people kicking the ball about, and then someone randomly grabs it, legs it and gets 1/3 points for doing so. <laugh>

No wonder the Oirish are good at it as it sounds like how they go about robbing households of their tv's <laugh>

I meant to lighten that comment by adding a dancy man smiley, hence the 'party' but it never worked so I sounded like Stereo when he is patronising <laugh>

Wasn't a clasic but every game is a good game when you have a line on it and it comes up.

Wouldn't worry about BH, he's a pork pie short of a picnic.

He's the sort of dumb **** who tells people how sad they are for spending Saturday nights on a football forum while spending his Saturday nights on a football forum. About as bright as a three watt bulb.

Brilliant result. Fermanagh are a mess though. London will probably get stronger due to emigration too.

    Never watched. Never will.

I guess it was their blatant sectarianism that turned many people in this country off it.
