Made the Dutch World Cup squad and the right age... http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/norwich-midfielder-wanted-by-qpr781/?#
He plays in the no.10 role I believe so maybe Taarabt is off after all. West Ham are also after him so maybe they're looking to offload Morrison. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 13/07/2014 By West London Sport QPR, West Ham and Southampton want Norwich City star. West Ham boss Sam Allardyce has also been linked with a move for Norwich star Fer, with Southampton said to be interested too. QPR boss Harry Redknapp wants to sign Norwich City midfielder Leroy Fer for £6m, the Sunday People claim. West Ham and Southampton are also said to be interested in the 24-year-old Dutchman, who featured for his country at the World Cup in Brazil. The People also say Redknapp wants to seal the signing of Rio Ferdinand on an £80,000-a-week deal and that out-of-contract Rangers striker Bobby Zamora is set to reject Millwall and continue discussions at Loftus Road.
I'd just like to say that Everton rejected him because of a knee problem. Then again that was the case for Austin.
He's already said he's happy to stay till January to see how our promotion push is going, unless the board deem other wise you won't stump up the cash to buy him. Will cost you probably £13mil +. We don't need to sell, so if he's to leave it will be on our terms. Hooper on the other hand will be yours probably for about 7-8mil as he is said to want out.
How much did you pay for hooper? Not really proved he can cut the PL judging on him from last season.
We got 8mil for Snodgrass who had 1 year left on his contract. Fer is younger, 3 years on his contract and a Dutch international... I think he would cost more than 6mil. We paid 5mil for Hooper, if Leeds got 11 for McCormack then 7-8mil isn't OTT in my opinion.
Big difference between £6m and £13m for Fer. Hooper is a failed Premiership striker. Norwich would be lucky to get £5m for him. Even at that, I hope we are not interested.
Clubs were being linked with Snodgrass at the beginning ic the summer with a 3mil move... Look how that turned out. We paid 4.5 for fer, he's going to cost a lot more than the media believe he will. As for Hooper, although he only scored 8 goals I believe he could get double that were he playing in a side that was actually aloud to attack and gave him some chances. Our strikers have been destroyed by hughton. They don't become bad strikers over night considering they scored goals everywhere they had played until moving here and playing under the most boring, negative manager to grace the premier league. Under Redknapp he would get double figures no problem.
Maybe not, but it was the first season hooper has played in a top division. I'm sure I could go up to Scotland and score goals.
