Good Morning Everyone, Leeds have backed out of the deal to bring Swiss Central defender Jonathan Rossini to the club. The 25 yo centre back has spent the last two weks at Leeds training camp in norther Italy, but the doubts on his fitness have caused concerns, and a decision was made last night not to proceed with the season long loan which would have turned permanent had he impressed. Cellino said: âWe want special players at Leeds United. Rossini didnât show enough during the three days he trained with the rest of the team.â It is thought that our next signing could be Sampdoria's right-back Gaetano Berardi. Jamie Ashdown is set to put pen to paper and sign a contract with Donny. I'm sure we wish him well! We are keen on AC Milan striker Andrea Petagna. The 19-year old broke through into the AC Milan first team in 2012 but has only made a handful of appearances. It is thought that a number of clubs chasing his signature. I heard Hunt scored!!!!! and then we won 16-0 against another amateur outfit, with Hunt scoring a hat-trick and Smith scoring 6. Our new keeper spent the last 10-minutes in their net to get some practice

Mornin all. Nice to see players signing need to be a bit special. Time will tell of course but it looks like just having as foreign sounding name will not be enough to get you signed up for Leeds. presume we have some sort of proper friendly back home soon. Good morning Matt and co from yes you've guessed it a sunny Bardsey The more I read about MC the more I take to him its about time owners stood up to these prima donnas called footballers and in telling Rossini sorry you are not the type of player I want at my club this will send a very clear message out you join this club because you want to improve your game .In the past most of our players came for a last payday I have preached this for many years get the young hungry ones in I was pleased that the best team won last night and a young hungry one scored an unbelievable goal which took a lot of skill he clearly is a star of the future I feel we have enough Italians in the team now so we should be concentrating now on young homegrown players such as Agard, Jennings, Jamie Murphy and Guedetti Finally are we due compensation from the Rumanians for no turning up yesterday perhaps they realised they could not get political restitution in Leeds or were frightened off by us beating the last team 16-0!!
Morning all It's definitely positive that we aren't just signing any old player up, and clearly saying if you aren't good enough / don't have the right attitude there's no place for you. That's something we've been missing the last couple of years. A bit more of that and we might never have signed Bassone amongst quite a few others! Seen a rumour on twitter this morning that we are interested in Quagliarella. I know he's getting on a bit, but I don't theres anyway that would ever come off!
