Argentina breed the finest steaks, and for that, they deserve a trophy. No influence at all that I bet on them pre-tourney, I just love steak.
I have to disagree mate, I can take your argument on board though. I think with a good meat, we all want the flavour to hit at a certain point, I like the instant it hits the tongue sort, and so it's Argentinian. Some prefer the flavour as they chew, and I get that.
I first tried Wagu about 2 years ago. I didn't eat another steak for about 18 months as it seemed pointless after. Ruined all meat for me. Cant afford to eat Wagu unfortunately.
They do Wagyu in Aldi now mate, although it's not the finest cut, obviously. It's got great flavour deffo, would be a contender.
