Fantasy premier league 2014/15 - Registration thread OT

It's not up yet, but I'm just using this as a registration thread, and please this year only join if you're willing to put in an effort throughout the season. I don't mind you missing the odd week through work or being busy, but most people last year just gave up after a short while, and only a handful were still playing towards the end.

Put your names down below if you want to be in the league that I will set up, and when the time comes I'll send out the league names/codes.

Last season I made the codes public and we had far too many randomers who join as many leagues as they can anyway.

Agree that you should do the codes over PM Tash.
Saves it getting messed up.
JPF will be setting up a board based prediction one too so we should have a bit of fun next year.

Disappointing to see that most people gave up last year especially as I didn't and I did badly!!!!!

Also is anyone setting a rota to help JPF with his missus whilst he's doing the prediction league?

 

I'll put my hand up fella.
When he isn't having lustful encounters he can step up but I don't mind helping out (with the league and any other duties he needs assistance with) if needs be.

Was gonna post in the other thread mate, what's the plan..say set up an account a few of us can access to update the scores/tables..or is there anotherway, say multiple threads or whatever. Definitely willing to give a hand like

 

I reckon the simplest way is for JPF to set it up like the WC one.... then we can take it in turns to:
1- Add up everyones scores each week (this will probably take up the most time)
2- post up the latest fixtures

In terms of the league table, both JPF as the OP and any mod will be able to update the original table on post 1.
I'm on here most days so if someone PM'd me and the other mods the latest table I can edit it in as and when.
That should be the easiest way I reckon and could, in theory involve anyone/everyone.
If it gets to, say a Tuesday and no scores are updated then poster A can get his/her calculator out and work the table out... then just PM it.
Happy for other ideas of course as that's just my view.

Back on topic I reckon it's a great idea to have Tash's formal league up and running and a simpler weekly predictor each week.
Should add some spice to proceedings and of course add banter.

I'll sticky this registration thread then replace it with the formal thread once Tash has the numbers in.
When JPF puts up the PL prediction league I'll do the same too.
Should be good fun.

 

Excellent a whole year of never getting a single score right ...after my magnificent performance in the WC... is a challenge i cannot fail but to accept.

Never played a fantasy league ...but am well up for it too ...

Plus the odd help out isn't an issue at all either...

 

Not being a fantasy league veteran, how do you join? What paper is it, etc? (Hope its not that rag the sun as I refuse to buy it )
