No. If he knows what's good for him he'll move across to anfield and play for the mighty reds where we can fulfil his dreams
I rate Barkley highly, he has the potential to become a very good player in future. But Everton would rather sell him to City for £10m than sell him to Liverpool for £50/60m, that's facts.
So we offer 1 billion dollars moohaha And you guys would say....no Same type of mentality that meant you had no chance of CL last season, by not turning up against City as you would rather lose than see title go to us. Nose ... Face No one is bigger than a club
Unfortunately i agree with this - but i feel we should test his resolve, And Tobes Rooney wasnt for sale ronaldo wasnt for sale Suarez wasnt for sale Gerrard (didnt go) but wasnt for sale If someone comes in with a ridiculous bid i think he will go, however, i do feel you would not sell to us. But like i keep saying I think we should try, even if just to attempt to push price up, spuds keep doing it with us
Nothing to do with mentality and everything to do with local rivalry. P.s. We wouldn't have got CL even by beating City and you wouldn't have to won the title either.....
P.S. that's just speculation but even so the worrying part (for you) is you were beaten before a ball was even kicked
I don't think that statement can be proved, as it would have increased pressure on Arsenal and City respectively. Just in same way that by the end the draw with palace did not cost us as we needed to win and by quite a number of goals to gave any chance at all cause of gd. What saddened me as a fan was that local rivalry took precedence over football. Yes as a club we can take a moral stance on this as the only time we were ever in a similar position that i can remember we beat the team we wanted to win the league, and gave utd a shout. And when the ground is dead as a dodo cause the fans do not want the team to win, creating no atmosphere yes, it is a mentality
So now alternative timelines count as facts It's fantastic to see just how far your #bitterness stretches
Why would we want to hand the title to you on a platter? Kopites pious moralising about what Evertonians should think about that issue made me want to hurl, given the fact you openly celebrated Chelsea winning at Anfield that denied United, so you've got **** all room to waffle on about it. As it was you blew it yourselves, so it was of zero relevance
Still in with a chance. Maybe you only had a 1 in 4 chance... but still just to throw it away and give up so easily is the exact reason Everton won't ever win anything again... defeatist little club attitude (not calling you little club. But that's the attitude of your club)
We lost 3-2 ffs. We had the lead due to a worldy from Barkley we were trying right to the death. Moaning kopites screaming fix, was pathetic at the time and revisionist now.
