Manchester United will listen to offers for Wilfried Zaha, Bebe, Anderson, Marouane Fellani, Danny Wellbeck and Javier Hernandez. (Mail on Sunday)
As soon as the new manager was announced I started wondering who'd be shoved out. I'm sure Fellani would fit in but can't see him coming here, I think Southampton is more likely. Welbeck might come here but his first touch & composure isn't what Poyet is after.
Zaha and Hernandez are the two I would take out of that lot. Hernandez especially would be a real star in our team and certainly knows where the goal is. He would suit our style of play too.
Would have welbeck back in a heart beat I think hes a great player can play wide left also maybe an alternative if borini doesn't come
I'd love Fellani, stick him next to Catts, let Catts take care of the protection and let Fellani play make from deep. There's only Bebe and Anderson I wouldn't want.
Didnt take long... http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2014...reignite-interest-in-manchester-united-forwa/ Numerous reports this morning suggest that the incoming Manchester United boss is preparing a large scale clear out at Old Trafford, with Danny Welbeck mentioned amongst a list of players of which the Dutch manager is supposedly open to offers. Sunderland are reported to want a new striker at the club by the end of the week, and could rebuff an interest in their former favourite. The 23-year-old enjoyed a fruitful loan spell at the Stadium of Light during the 2010-11 season, scoring six goals in 26 appearances and earning his first England call up under then manager Steve Bruce. Bruce tried and failed to bring Welbeck to Wearside on a permanent basis in the summer of 2012, with all advances rejected by Alex Ferguson who considered the striker ready to play a valuable role in his first team plans at Old Trafford. But now with change looming large at Manchester United Welbeck could be heading for the exit, and a return to Sunderland may finally be on the cards. The Black Cats look almost certain set to miss out on last season's loan sensation Fabio Borini, meaning a move for Welbeck could prove the perfect alternative. Although the 23-year-old made his impact at the Stadium of Light before the arrival of Gus Poyet, the Uruguayan has shown a preference in forward players with a high work ethic and ability to track back defensively, and therefore could see the Manchester United man as a viable option. Imagine a forward line similar to... Johnson - Borini - Welbeck ----------Wickham----------
No media outlet can possibly know the Borini situation till Liverpool have stopped adding to their forward options. Here in the City is a load of ****e anyway, pure guess work and yet more lazy journalism.
