I know the person who was Bernard Mendy's landlord- he would get regular calls saying how the lights were broken in the house again. The landlord would go over to the house and every time explain how light bulbs need changing. They went over on one of Mendy's child's birthdays and asked how old the boy was. Mendy had no idea... They are not Diva's - they live in a different world.
Donât rate Caulker either, and itâs good to see a rival spunk so much of their budget on him. I think he has a false rep based on his âpotentialâ at Spurs which was validated by the crazy cash Malky M was spunking at Cardiff and past call ups by that ****bag Hodgson. I think Caulker is of the standard of an average Premier League CB.
I would be surprised if there was actually anything in this but the daily star claims we are "tracking" Ehsan Hajsafi who plays LB on the Iranian National team and a club called Sepahan Isfahan in the Iranian league. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/fo...-for-Iran-World-Cup-stars-Pooladi-and-Hajsafi A video of him from youtube. The defending in the video is pretty poor.
we should go for his Iranian teammate Azmoun - only because his preferred squad number is 69 . . . . and its not for the reasons that you may think (or so he says!!)
I like Bruce’s spirit but after all their crowing when we signed him: ‘he’s ****, we’re too good for him’ etc. it’d be ****ing hilarious if they paid cash for him.
He's had some awesome games, Liverpool coming to mind. Not sure if he'll get a game this season though so might be best going. Besides, as you say we're going to have fun with TWS fans over it. Like the thought of him throwing up in their tunnel now too.
It's hopefully gonna be a long season and we do need good dependable squad players and Alex falls into that category.
During the Cup final Bruce was arguably our best player up until he got injured and went off. I think that might have had something to do with the end result
We've bid again for Maguire; I think he'll take precedence over Dawson now. Interestingly, Sporting Lisbon have put a £5m pricetag on the head of England U21s CB Eric Dier (which Newcastle think is too much). Is he worth a punt at that price (HFFP?)
It's £1.75m, which I don't think will be enough personally, but it might involve some add ons later down the line so you never know. I think Sheffield United will try hold out for at least £2.5m, but we shall see. The lad from Dundee looked to be cock on at one point, but it looks as though a deal has stalled. I still think it'll go through though.
