The Great Maldonado's having another stormer, only a couple of places behind the seven times world champion.

it would be a poor decision from RB to let Webber take Vettel.

does anyone else get the impression Vettel isn't really pushing much at all, just doing enough?

raced well in Canada too, just been bad at quali.

I disagree. Vettel surely has this title. The best way to enhance that title is to allow a race-winning teammate to race him.

Obviously a lot of people will always dislike Schumi for his exploits in the mid 90s, and that farce with Barrichello in Austria. But imagine how much more respect he would have earned, had Barrichello and Irvine been able to properly race him. It probably wouldn't have changed the outcome of the titles, and certainly would have made F1 a little less rubbish during that period.

EDIT: Who knows, they might have picked up an extra title in 1999.

So, when Hamilton said, "I can go any slower!" why didn't his engineer explain that if he didn't then he'd hurt his tyres again and end up being 2.2 second off the pace by lap 40?

Now he says he driving as fast as he can.

He needs to get good, quick.
