Well I'm still looking forward to watching an international game with hopefully open play and plentiful goal scoring opportunities.

Depends whether the team's hearts are in it. As you say, it may well be an open goalfest but you get the feeling both teams will be thinking this game could have been the 'big one'...

    Bottled it again.

    Red card all day long....

Like Joey's let off vs Sheffield Wednesday at the first match of last season....

How was that not a red card

I am sick of refs giving Brazil decisions in this tournament

Imagine if we're all there at W12 vs Hull City Tigers on Saturday 16 August and that happens!

    Bump! Back down to earth!

There's so much wrong with that.

He took a dive, it was outside the box and if its given, it should be a red.

However, that's the rule I'd like to see for fouls outside the box, a pen and no red card and we still have a game on.

Yes, the initial contact seemed outside the box, so ref options should have been a yellow for the dive, or a red (like O'Neil), but no penalty, just a free kick.

They will never give a yellow for a contact dive, they won't even give them for a non contact dive.

He told a Brazil player to get up following a dive but didn't book him. The funny thing is dived are so easy to spot, I can't tell from the long distance TV shot.

2-0 hopefully luiz will be in tears soon, he should be with defending like that.

What a shock, now he's started throwing more elbows about.

Someone should tell Brazilians its not a pen if you launch yourself a yard outside the box and land in it.

The crowd is ****, total silence followed by schoolgirl screams if Brazil get near the box.
