Went to one in Kilburn in the late 70's and had a great night.Old fella came round collecting for the IRA.
Went to one with a mate at college, there was a band playing, followed him back out again once the "rebel songs" started, he was apologising but at that time I didn't have a clue about that ****. Alexandra pub in Clapham.
Oh I knew all about it.Terrorist Tourism. Now I'm looking for a cosy little bar in Kandahar where the ragheids all sing about the exploits of Allah's brave boys!Makes you nostalgic for the IRA.Terrorists maybe but they were our terrorists.

Not really. The vast majority of pubs on English soil which happen to be owned by Irish people and have a significant clientelle from the island of Ireland and therefore play Irish music and show irish sports do not indulge in that carry on. Personally I'd close down the ones that did but it's not up to me so i would just refuse to drink in them as i have done for the last 25 years or so.
