Is Schumi's driving with that wing bravery, talent or stupidity?

The Mclarens are starting to move, why does it take them so long? every race they seem to start slow and then speed up, is it them, or do the others (Fer,RBR) degrade more?

Probably not. I'm talking about the risks he was taking once the wing was broken. Overtaking Di Resta for instance.

I was wondering if they hurt their tyres during quali and this compromises them early in the race.

Button for some reason is a few tenths slower every lap in the final sector.

I'd say it's Ferrari in particular degrading, Red Bull to a lesser extent.

When all keep their heads, Hamilton, Alonso and Vettel are very evenly matched as drivers in my view. If they're in similar circumstances, comparing their lap times is an extremely good guide to the relative performance.

Button's less useful as a barometer. When he can play to his strengths only Schumacher and Vettel can deal with him. When he can't, he's the same midfield driver people used to have him down as. Massa and Webber are too inconsistent to be useful for comparative purposes.

It's amazing, 24 starters in the world's most expensive sport, yet only 16 yesterday in the Moto GP.
