Does anybody else think suarezes bite was a deliberate action to cement a move to barca knowing that liverpool would favour the move to save anymore trouble for the club....just a thought
This had been banded about, but it would say no. I think that Liverpool have done amazingly well getting 75m for a nutter (but a technically brilliant footballer).
One of the most idiotic thoughts I've seen on here .......... you really think it's possible that a player deliberately ruined what may be his last ever World Cup just to engineer a move that was probably already agreed
Oh I see, you created a thread specifically in regards to me While at the same time strenuously denying, on another thread, that you're obsessed with me.
I don`t think so Stu. He let himself down, his team mates and his country. The talks were fairly advanced anyway so imo the bite wasn`t to engineer a move but quite simply because he`s mental.
I'm so pleased he's gone tbh, he attracts way too much attention and the media are like slaves to him. Liverpool were already planning how to spend the money and hoping he'd have a good World Cup to boost their negotiations.
He was a joy to watch last season but i wont miss him, some of the moves so far are exciting, looking forward to it all kicking off again
Agree with this. imo he`d gone past embarrassment to the point of liability. I reckon Liverpool are well rid and under the circumstances have done very well.
Not sure really smug. The athleticof bite was when he wanted to leave but the club wouldn't let him. The first Liverpool bite in similar circumstances. This one I think was to try to make himself look less like a twat when asking for a move. Just an pinion but I think there's some legs in it
Uruguay were heading for the knockout stages of a World Cup with Columbia or Japan as possible opponents. Suarez is a striker at his peak and who'll be approaching 30 in the next World Cup. Even if Uruguay qualify there's no guarantee Suarez will be the force he is now. The idea that a man would disgrace himself, and his country, as well as risking a lengthy ban is incredible. It's also just as likely that he'd jeopardise his 'dream move' rather than cement it. A snake has more legs than this mate but, to be honest, just as likely to bite you
