Swansea will never get anything close to £45 mill for Bony...

I really hope this is bullshit...

"Everton manager Roberto Martinez is interested in bringing Bosnian international midfielder Muhamed Besic to Goodison Park, according to reports from the Mail, despite the player recently being linked with a move to Premier League rivals Swansea City and West Ham United.

The tidy defensive midfielder is expected to be available for a fee of around £2.5m million from Hungarian Premier League side Ferencvaros, which could represent a bargain for a player who did not look out of place in any of his performances for his country at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, despite their disappointing group stage exit.

Martinez has just added Gareth Barry to his central midfield ranks at Goodison Park, but the Spaniard is expected to move for at least one more central midfielder, with Besic seemingly jumping to the front of the queue.

Garry Monk had been linked with a move to take him to Swansea City, but it is possibly that the futures of players like Wilfried Bony and Ben Davies must be sorted out before the Swans can do any more incoming transfer business this summer.

Everton qualified for the Europa League last season, meaning that Martinez is likely to want to operate a bigger squad for the Toffees than he did last year to ensure that they are able to compete on all fronts."

It was reported in his home country that he had agreed a 4 year deal and was going to join the training camp in the USA. This was a few days ago so the fact he hasn't signed yet means something must be up.

I think this is a good move for him. If he wasnt going to be near the first team squad, he needed to move on and prove himself elsewhere. There is still plenty of time to prove he is good enough for the PL rather than fester in that pointles u21 league.

So I read somewhere earlier that when Bony leaves we will replace him with that dude from Watford !!! WTF.... Surely it can't be true. Some are stunned that Liverpool want Bony to replace Suarez, I'm even more stunned if we are to replace Bony with a Championship player.
This is exactly what I feared when Monk took over.

I would have thought we already have Bony's replacement signed in Gomis should he leave?

Agree with that Valley. Emnes as back up so we need another forward as well to compete with Gomis, should Bony go.

He's young and unproven in the Prem but I'm genuinely ****ed off with this one.

An anchor man who can cover centre-back and right-back was too perfect...and he qualified as an U-21.
He played very well for Bosnia.
Don't Everton have enough anchor men in midfield for ****'s sake.

I heard last night that jack rodwell representatives in swansea about a possible move from man city. Personally I think this would be excellent as long as he can prove his injuries are past him

"Swansea City have asked for Kyle Naughton to be included as part of a deal to sell Ben Davies, also a left-back, to Tottenham Hotspur."

Is a quote attributed to The Times.
