I joined this forum many, many years ago when I was just a boy. I rose through the ranks and eventually got the top job of underappreciated whipping boy of the masses. Sky & Hash were always at hand to help me with inappropriate pics, PMK & Billy were there late at night to fend off the evils of other boards. Good times. The GC fought hard but I insisted that "This Should Be Closed" and many wums including wakka and my good friend BringBackBenitez fell. In the early days the place was a bit........... please log in to view this image Todays board is a more civilised place and our current main man Gerrez has done a great job. I stepped down the first time as I was a little unwell and couldn't give the job my time, like I always say this is not a badge of honour to cling on to but a job we do for the good of the board. I came back to help Gerrez out and feel that I can leave the job again as it's in good hands with G and Mito and maybe a couple of new mods in waiting. Perhaps Young Power will have its day. The place has changed and I always said I'd do a big dramatic leaving thread, so here it is. I'm not leaving for good and probably never will so I thought my mini break as I take the long walk to the Music Thread deserved a little attention. If I could pass on any MOD experience it is to talk to people, there are many MOD tools and you can ban and delete to your hearts content but sometimes a quick PM and a reasonable voice will be much more effective. On serious note, good stuff Luv. Wasn't around when the board was apparent chaos so cant really appreciate the good work you put in early days, but glad you sorted it and made this place a good friendly place to come and share views etc
