One of my friends was business manager for Rick Wakeman so I saw him play at Wembley Arena with Yes.... .and then twice on tour as rick wakeman and his band.... each time to smaller and smaller audiences.. .we all went to eat at the bharat restauarant in Bradford for a curry. Decent guy but... like all rock stars..... never quite enough money to pay everyone....

I also do some work for a friend of mine who is a <erm> "top astrologer"..... whose claim to infamy must be his prediction on Jools Holland's hogomany special about three xmases ago that the next president of the US would be a woman... and <erm> obama got elected <laugh> Not an exact science eh ;)

As a kid we had a family friend.. Billy Dainty... some of you may remember him.... and I remember as a kid going to see him at the london palladium.... and going back stage and getting the autographs of cliff richard, des o'connor etc... Billy Dainty was one of the great working comedians who did everything fro end of the pier to panto and the odd TV variety show..

I know - the end of my finger is still swollen to twice its proper size - over 4 weeks since it happened - but at least the skin has healed over and the finger no longer looks like a split open raw sausage :)

Don't know what is going on with Button and Hamilton, I know Button has lost use of his KIRS but both of them are so far off the pace:(

Must admit I prefer Button, especially after the last race in Canada, he was superb that day he is simply best in differing conditions:)
