Today one of Liverpool's great ever players departed our club. Luis Suarez time at Liverpool has been one of beauty but also one of drama, its been special, but also controversial. But most of all it has been brilliant and I think I speak for us all when I say it is very sad to see him go.

This thread is to play tribute to a great player who will really be missed.

Suarez joined Liverpool from Ajax in January 2011 for £22.88m.

Suarez scored 82 goals in 133 games for Liverpool and gifted us to some of the most beautiful footballs we have ever seen.

Lets forget that bad stuff and share all the videos and memories of the great Suarez moments.

Suarez is a legend. Will miss him greatly and I do not begrudge him his move. We have sold him for top dollar and I eish him all the best for the future. Would have loved him to stay but he is a spanish speaker and it is only fair that he gets to fulfil his dreams of playing for one of the biggest dpanish speaking clubs in the world. You will be missed Luis. Welcome bavk anytime if yhings dont work out

He was a very good player but his antics were simply not acceptable. We got good money for him and hopefully we can rebuild an even better team.

He stained the club with the racist and biting incidents. But we got good money for him. Hopefully he'll do the same at Barcelona and will be a hindrance to them too as well as a brillant player.

Probably the best player the club has had in the last couple of decades.

Definitely the worst player the club has had in the last couple of decades!

He did a lot for us, and did a lot to ruin our reputation. He gave us a massive boost, and lifted us up a few pegs. A wonderful, brilliant, despicable man.

    Vomit.

Everything he's said in that statement is just lip service. My family loves Liverpool, will always be Liverpool fans, right, that's why they live in Spain and you've been trying to move your ass there for the last two seasons.

Great striker, compromised and troubled human being. We'll miss his footballing skill, assists and goals and arguing with Tobes and those visitors off the Utd board about his troubles. That's about it.

Rodgers said it. No player bigger than the club.

    This.

No player is bigger than the club. we have a long respectable history and he has only passed through, doing only two seasons. We have better heroes who have given their playing careers to the club and who have given us trophies.

    <ok>

His statements cannot be believed. Look at his statements after the biting incident and the justification. Would you trust him after that?

Three and a half seasons. The same as Torres.

Suarez scored one goal more than Torres despite playing less games (no champions league).

Exactly, he says what he wants to suit him. Must be part of the defect in his personality that makes him gnash.

I can only compare Suarez with a type of bird found in Africa.Their wings are longer than their legs.Apart from Suarez's dark side.

    Great Great Great player.:emoticon-0150-hands:emoticon-0150-hands:emoticon-0150-hands

The transfer leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I guess after all the unequivocal support he received, to force a move in the way he did is a little childish.

I suppose we just need to see where the club is going with this. Lambert isn't going to do it for me, and neither is Bony. Sanchez was a blow that strengthened our rivals but we will see where its going. He could be a flop or not fit their system. As for us I hope we don't rely on Origi or the likes. Markovic or Xhaqiri are good squad additions but I really want an ambition signing.

Suarez left short of being a legend but he left some great memories. The Kuyt assist being my favourite. Or the 4+1 performance vs. Norwich.

Can't say I wish him the best but I guess I wish him good luck at Barca and against the other English teams in Europe. Against us I hope he's ****.

This is stupid. Why would you want to focus on the good side only? He couldn't wait to get away to Spain and he did antics which meant he missed huge chunks of the season for us. He benefitted from our support and now got a lucrative contract with Barcelona. He has as much reason to be grateful to us as we have to him.

There is no replacing him... no single individual will be so brilliant for the club for a long time. We need multiple people to step up and collectively fill the gap.

Gutted. What a talent. He will be sorely missed and to us he's worth more than 75mil.let's face it, we will blow that on 3 lovrens. But still, he didn't want to play for the club anymore so what can we really do. We move on. And someone else will become our superstar, but not expecting that anytime soon.
