The gold trim is ****e. Looks more like a dark mustard. The club could really do with asking fans opinions before throwing out ''any old ****e'' as sunderland shirts.
All the stick it got on the other thread, my stance is hmmmmmmm think it looks great, bit of diarrhoea as referred is from the epic charlton wembley play off final shirt, lambtons sponsor if I remember correctly
It looks a lot better on the official release than the leaked photos did. I wonder what this mysterious 3rd kit that we're not allowed to buy looks like...
I would love a strip similar to the new Southampton home strip... I think it looks smart. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/04072014-201415-home-kit-reveal-1716325.aspx
Click in the club shop mate you get a good shot. It actually looks alright (not great mind...), way better than the leak shots did, although it is the kit.
Cheers fella. I quite like it. Been hoping for a kit with black shorts, hate our home kits with red or white shorts, the black on the top reassures me we're keeping with black shorts which is all I really want from a home kit. Just a shame about the gold trim.
Didn;t click the link.. Anyone who post a thread of just a link, is a lazy **** imo,,, However i've seen the strip, it's red and ****ing white....all that matters. The players can wear them... Iwouldn't be seen dead in a footy top.
I don't remember one in my lifetime with anything but Black shorts though? Although I agree the red & whicte with Red or White shorts looks ****e I quite like the strip personally Interesting to see Fletch modelling the kit...
please log in to view this image How nasty is that? We've worn white much more recently but can't find a pic, I remember because we defo wore them v the mags. Wickham is also modelling the training gear. Looks like Poyet is happy with the strikers.
Football shirts these days are all garbage. Normally in tatters after 5-6 washes, material is ****e and the sponsor is always too big. Can't remember the last time I bought a Newcastle top that was both decent in quality and looked smart. I much preferred footy shirts from the early 90s.
Red/White shorts are only ever worn in a clash mate, we have never in my life had a home kit without black shorts, I'm 34.
Ah fair do's, don't see why a home strip should ever clash though, it's the whole point of away strips init?
