Ah **** I've got to do that soon but it's a ****about because you need your passport to get offshore.

You will need to account for the passport office querying your application, with the distinct possibility of them thinking your passport photo is a pisstake.
Yeah mine ran out last month. Was hoping I wouldn't need it for a while but now I'm going for another job with travel required. Maybe i'll just screw up the interview to save me the bother!
I haven't checked mine, not sure when it expires. Seriously want to get away for a few weeks this year. Hopefully once we get the marital home sold. After that going to look for work abroad, Saudi, Malaysia possibly.
Big hold-ups at Passport HQ. Some lassie I know had to go to Bournemouth or similar far away place to get hers renewed in time for her hols. God Bless.
I renewed mine this year. 10 days and it was here although mine is an Irish passport the internationally recognised document of "hes a good ****" Once in islamabad some insurgents kidnapped myself and 2 british guys they took our passports and after a few minutes returned mine asking me if id like some beer and crisps and telling me I could have the chainsaw to behead the brits if I so wanted. Ive said to much

I was in London in March, so did it there, just pay the extra 40quid and get it in one day, you have an appointment in the morning and you collect it in the afternoon, it was utterly painless, I was dreading renewing mine for about 4 years before it even expired because I hate **** like that, but actually it turned out to be a jolly old day.
