TBH I would take Campbell as backup for Jelly and Long as he would add nice depth.

Sounds like Leicester baulked at his wage demands, must be over their £30k a week ceiling. Also he's not even in Solskjær's plans so has been left out of pre season stuff.

If we miss out on Dawson..No sweat..Solid enough but very slow....Elmo gave him a five yard start and skinned him on a couple of occasions...Far too slow for PL....He'd be okay at Champ level, no longer quick enough for the premier league...

The Daily Star thinks we are going to go for Jose Fonte if we cant get Dawson.

I'd rather have Fonte. Younger, more mobile, better value the list goes on.

 

According to the HDM.. things are moving slow regarding the transfers of Dawson & Robertson.

Fonte is only a month, give or take a few days, younger than Dawson.

 

How true this is I don't know, but would certainly be a step in the right direction if Dawson falls through. In fact, I would make a bid for Fonte to force Dawson's hand.

 

Would much rather Fonte.

 

Not sure if there will be much truth in it, likely paper talk although I do have to agree, I would rather opt for Fonte. Although the age is no different, he just seems more mobile.
