    In what position in the Championship do you think Pompey will finish, come May 2012...

    Just an observation, but the same thread on our boards except with red specs, shows many of our posters feeling that the play-offs were a possibilty this coming season, yet few have posted here and they are far are that optimistic.

    Those who wish to see my "Bon mot" on the subject will have to check out our boards. I do think you have to polite when you are in other peoples homes. ;)

    Channon - it's probably due to the current position of PFC only having 11 players on their books.

    And now we appear to be on the verge of losing our first team coach !

    No wonder Pompey's fans are being "reserved" in our present ambitions and outlook for the coming season.

    However, once we have signed another dozen players, we will be "buzzing". <ok>

    Scenario 'B' : Relagation fight.

    Let's see who wants to come and play for the most illustrious club on the south coast first though. (The club that plays in BLUE- for you muppets out there <ok> )

    If I were a blindly optimistic fan I would aim for a play off place however as the pessimistic realist I am my only aim for this coming season is a safe mid-table finish like we had last season.

    Same here! I genuinely believe it to be a gift at birth, I chose the right side of Hampshire! :)

    For me, be great if we make it into the top 10.
    But I can see us finishing around the same place as last season.

    But come on the boys!
