Dear Player, Thank you so much for considering the offer made for you to join QPR as a player. I thought you might appreciate a fan's eye view of why it would be a very good decision for you join. Clearly I don't represent any fans other than myself but I hope some at least will agree with me. 1) The fans. Every player or mananger joining or leaving says 'best fans ever, bla bla'.This is nonsense. All football fans are passionate about their team and we are no different so no edge to offer you there. 2) The stadium. It's crap but like a favourite old car that you don't want to lose, when it's rocking with passion, it has an electricity and energy with palpable excitement running through it. Again, not unique but rather good. As you will know, a new stadium and training facility is in the pipeline but nothing there to attract you right now. 3) The money. You earn enough anyway and half will go the HMRC so that should not be your main motivation. In fact, if it is, we don't want you! 4) Here's the key thing. I'm sure you've watched all or some of our play off triumph over Derby. Listen to what Tony Fernandes stated on national TV. 'Today was not about the money. I don't care abnout the money. Today was about winning becuase I love to win and I so hate losing.' He also said (my paraphrase) that despite the criticism the players that won promotion did so by playing for the badge. So, that really is the critical factor that should excite you to come / return to QPR. Tony Fernandes is a winner and his intention for QPR is to win and keep winning. Together with a united board, a top flight manager, more than adequate resources and a firm determination to win, I believe that QPR is just about the best choice you can make unless one of the top six come calling in which case you would have to weigh up bench time vs playing time! Come and join the Blue and White Hooped revolution. You know it makes sense!!

It's obviously someone who's clearly against old players and is at odds with Redknapp. That should narrow it down a bit.

Thanks Mate, appreciate that. It just came to me as I was thinking about jobs, interviews and how you get the 'right sort' in. I think I can safely say that there is one thing we are all agreed on. We are very lucky to have TF as our Chairman.
