Hi Fulham fan in peace here

Firstly hope you are ok with The McCormack deal? Personally I think we both did ok we got the player we wanted who will hopefully get us goals and for that we gave you far more money than we should have.

I just wanted to make a point about the financial fair play as there has been a few leeds fans and other fans commenting its a joke that we have spent £11 million and that the FFP is a joke. I actuallly believe we will comply with it easily, on the 30th June we realeased 17 players including a lot if high earners we have sold 2 more with another 3/4 expected to go now the World Cup is over.
We have bought in 5 players and promoted another 5 from the youth team I reckon this has cut the wage bill by 40% easily overnight

So far we have spent about £15 million and sold £7 million, an £8 million net transfer spend isn't horrendous but with Ruiz, Stekelenburg and Mitroglu all expected to be sold there is a chance we will end this summer in profit even spending £11 mill on Ross

Anyway good luck this season I hope your owner does reinvest the cash

Didnt you sack a load on non playing staff as well?

I think we are all chuffed with the money we got from Ross and dont expect to see him repeat the tally he got last season anytime soon. Great player to be fair and played in his natural position he is more than capable but I think 15-20 goals next season would be a great return for you.

Good luck for the coming season and what ever happened to the statue of Jacko?

If McCormack gets 15-18 goals next season I fully expect us to be up around the top six as I think we have others who will chip in, pretty sure he will partner Cauley Woodrow upfront who I think will hit double figures a great young prospect who had a great tournament for the England u19 this summer. We have a younger better prospect Dembele but at 17 maybe to young though the championship maybe Hugo Rodellega's level

Khan removed the Jacko statue after a poll of the fans, no idea where it went though!

We have an Italian under 21 international Trotta who has had two good seasons on loan in league one valued at £1 million and has submitted a transfer request shocked he wasn't part of the McCormack deal

You will be pleased with McCormacks link up play. He does bring more than just goals. Just be prepared to give him an improved contract every 3 months to keep him happy!

I knew the Statue went (thank god, it must have been embrassing for the fans) I just didnt know where! Perhaps its somewhere around Harrods now!

The joke is really all about how Fulham and plenty more before you failed in the league. You are then rewarded with £12m for the next 4 seasons, which makes a joke out of anything called fair. How is it fair that half the clubs in the prem get all that money anwhich makes it almost imposible for normal clubs to compete unless they have a rich owner. Burnley did it but not many can.

So I wish you luck this season and hope Ross works out well for you, but ask yourself why he went to a championship club, when he could have gone to West Ham, Newcastle and a couple of other prem clubs. he did it for money and a 4-year deal which sees him never having to worry again. lack of ambition I think and sheer greed.

Unfortunately whether we like it or not the premiership brings in the money so the clubs are rich, although the parachute system is unfair if it was not in place all relegated clubs would instantly go I to administration, so without it all that would happen is the Premier league would just shut up shop no relegation or promotion like the USA.

In a perfect world all football income would be shared evenly amongst all 92 clubs but that argument is hopeless as will never happen,

My original point was that a few football fans have had a little pop at Fulham actually this summer I think we will have a net transfer Profit and reduced our wage bill by at least 40% so we are trying. I think the the other two relegated clubs will be closer to breaking FFP.

It will be interesting to see what happens with QPR to see what fines they get

QPR made a mockery of the system, but got promoted so by all accounts it will have been worth it for the reward of the premiership. I guess its **** or bust for the clubs that take that gamble. Again, makes a mockery of the system because any financial penatly impossed will be paid out no problem once a club is playing Premiership football. A rethink is needed me thinks <ok>

If he starts off scoring he could get 30+ but if he doesn't score for 5-10 games he will struggle. very much a confidence player, will struggle around xmas as I have said he likes a drink.

McCormack scored 30 goals last season in a very piss poor Leeds team (they only scored 59 in total)
At a better club he should at least match that <ok>

Must be a tad annoying TC looking at all the great London teams around you able to splash the cash while your lot have no realistic chance of ever making progress. Whats the best you can hope for, maybe 14th best team in London?

It would only be annoying if the mighty Fulham were poaching OUR best players, but we are keeping them <cheers>

Something similar to what Leeds were 'rewarded' with when they dropped out of the premiership Doc, although i think it was 3 seasons of parachute payments then?
Fulham seem to have lived within their means in their years in the top flight and cleared out the high earners now they have dropped out of it, they have also invested in their youth system with a few ready to make the step up, i think they'll romp this league next season.
I see you consider Leeds to be a normal club now, maybe other Leeds fans will follow your example of realisation at long last.<cheers>
