That was one of the most boring games I have watched in a while and slightly disgraceful considering the level and players involved. I wanted Argentina to go through so much because the style of football Holland played tonight was abysmal, dull and anti football. They made no attempt to play football, parked the bus, put everyone behind the ball and every time an Argentinian footballer got the ball they smothered them with and went back to passing it around at the back. Argentina tried endlessly to break through and play football but it was apparent Holland had no plan of trying to play football and instead planned to park the bus, maybe get the off chance but play mind games and go through on penalties. Don't get me wrong neither team was amazing but at least Argentina tried to do something.
I fully expect Germany to win anyways, which is why I put a bit of money on them just after the match finished tonight. No matter what, I'll be making a profit.
It was so boring I fell asleep during extra time, I only found out the score this morning. I still want the Germans to win, I'd hate it if the island-thieving ****s won after that performance.
